A clip from one of our streams where my friend had taught me how to fix our crashing problem from Alt Tabbing and clicking out of the window. Also how to fix the resolution being off when in windowed mode.

We crashed alot in our streams from alt tabbing or accidentally clicking off the screen and it's annoying to reset our lobby everytime, this was a trick my friend found and I figured I should share it so more people know of it! Hopefully this fixes some problems for people with the resolution!

Mine crashes after battles but am not gonna mess around with it, I just play on console games instead.

I actually hate that they basically Hacked this fix in the live game instead of just fixing exclusive full screen.... they removed it entirely. 😒

Game is freezing in almost every battle. Obvious things did not worked what to do?

Hmmm, I presume unmodded? If it is modded then check for any mods that would add a map! Sometimes map mods end up causin' crashes. Same thing for custom factions. Other than that idk! I haven't played in a long time. If you've tried the obvious I presume you've done a clean reinstall of your drivers and have varified the file.

It might be the specific level, sometimes one battle map can be totally unplayable because it causes crashes. Or that was a problem in 2, that's my only thought. If that's the case all you can do is autoresolve and try not to get into fights in that area again. Ya got any map mods on? If so try takin' them off then redoing the battle.

Sadly I don't own Shogun 2, but the major crash I see is actually a Windows problem where the system decides to close the game without asking your permission. It doesn't even seem to be consistent...2 people with the same specs and OS yet it crashes for one and not the other! One person had it working only when they had task manager open for some reason... Seems like a mess of a game!

What if my game freeze during campaign cinematic or right after on camapign map ? The game just freeze and stops responding. I can't start any campaign or play any custom battle.

Well that's a strange one, I've never encountered it before. Have you checked your drivers are all up to date? I haven't played in a while since I got bored while waiting for Immortal Empires so maybe a patch broke something?

@@elrondirgaming828 Yes, i've done everything that i could think of and everything that i have found online. It still freeze on cinematic or right after. I contacted customer support and even they don't know xD i mean... my PC is not that old and i am playing Warhammer 2 on full details on my GeForce 1070 :) but for some reason Warhammer 3 freeze and i can't play it.
