Good reaction. You've found one of my favorite singers. That was autotune at the beginning. KZ likes the vocal effect and uses it occasionally even though she doesn't need it. Other reactors either love or hate it. The Singer is a Chinese TV singing competition for professional singers. Mostly it's Chinese singers but they usually have a couple of foreign singers. That season, it was KZ from The Philippines and Jessie J from England. KZ is good in a number of styles but she's known for her soul singing and is called Asia's Soul Supreme. To hear her sing a Rock song, try Real Gone by Sheryl Crow from The Singer. Say Something and Royals from The Singer are good too. Her collab with Jaya on Feeling Good is outstanding.
singer 2018 is a competition.. she is already an established singer in the Philippines that represents our country. She didn't just cover a song but make it sounds like her own and she even arrange it to fit to her voice... kudos to your honest reaction, we understand that it's not everybody's cup of tea but that's fine, original is always been the best. kindly react to her rendition of "Royals" too.. thank you and godbless
On top of all that, KZ actually “arranged” that song (just as she does all her songs)! That wasn’t auto tune, that’s an effect she put on the mic to add an artistic flair to the intro. Keep on reacting to KZ. You’ve only seen a quarter of her talent!
