Another great review - thanks! I've always like Totem's tonality: one of the most "genuinely natural" sounding speakers. If you were to describe differences between the Skylight and Sky - does anything stand out? Thanks!
Demanding in regards to the bass. Perhaps James blake - limit to your love may have been a better example. in regards to london grammar; around 1:19 there are bass notes that move rather alot of air in the woofers, voices kick back in around 1:29 and with some speakers that cannot handle it, it will distort.
@@Jayiyagi Ahh, okay. I thought you were suggesting that the piece was demanding in that it was musically demanding...as in "requiring a lot of technical proficiency to play". Thanks for the clarification.
The port resonance on these speakers is abysmally bad. It sounds like someone singing though a drain pipe half the time. Even on Hey Now the port is audible in the midrange.
Totem does amazing things and often pay close attention to things most companies wouldn't consider, but sometimes they overlook the obvious. It's perplexing.
