The only negative from this game is Romero nearly getting sent off when we were in cruise control..Romero needs to learn some discipline because he's starting to become a liability. He's getting sent off way too often..
Was a solid 9/10. Was so close to a 10 but unfortunately not keeping the clean sheet was such a simple goal to concede; an almost perfect game. Romero was extremely lucky not to go off. Part of it is him but also other players have to take some responsibility. When you can see one of your teammates is treading dangerously you need to talk to them, calm them down and cover so they don’t make silly mistakes. Clear Red so he was very lucky.
Great win marred by Romero's tackle that got him a yellow card.He is very lucky it wasn't a red card ! He has only just come back from one suspension, and what worries me is we were 3 up at the time,so it was totally unnecessary. He needs talking to.
It's becoming a regular occurrence and could end up costing us in the long run..If he gets a yellow card against Forest that's another suspension because today was his 4th yellow card..He needs a talking to because he's a red card waiting to happen.
I said something similar about Romero on a video a couple of weeks ago but got a load of stick from fans saying the great defenders from the past had a wild streak in them. Players from previous generationswere governed under more lenient rules and could fly into tackles intending to do damage and more often than not get applauded. Today, you have to be more measured and cooler in your challenges. Use brains more than physicality. Just being fractionally late in an honest tackle could get you sent off but Romero goes flying into challenges needlessly and recklessly. That’s not heroic and to be applauded, it’s stupidity and will continue to cost us for as long as Emerson/Dier are the replacements.
@@DeadlyDizzle-yn1vzI am glad you agree. When mentioning "defenders from the past" fans should know the game was played mainly on mud from October to March. The game played today is nothing like that of 30 years ago,and I see many yellow cards given today that wouldn't have got a free kick years ago. If Romero gets suspended again,it could mean an even longer time out.
Great win! Richy lift-off hopefully? Today was a good day to play them (with their minds half on the crunch Milan game possibly..?) but we still had to do it. SO much better today. COYS!
You mention no one owns the left side. Followed Big Ange at Celtic. Answer -> JOTA this guy is a left side freak and thrives in Ange Ball. Bring him in Jan, must be missing game time. Any update on this potential move?
This more like it ! Pretty football with the Goals.....Could have been a Thoroughly Professional team performance except for : Romero card AGAIN , and Holberg's sloppy ass pass for their consolation.....Still , this was our Strongest 11 in a while , and Ange's set-up was On Point. Looking at the stats : ( 23 Shot's ~ 12 on target ~ crucially 4 Goals ) this has to be the aim going Forward ; create Many chances ~ Don't over-play it around goal ~ chance to Shoot / Shoot Ruthlessly and score ~ Defend with Discipline & Conviction ~ We Win!......Big -UP: Ange
Nothing to do with Newcastle being leggy ? The difference here from the west ham game, we put the ball at pace right across the 6 yard box ! Keep doing that and running on team mates will slot the ball in the net - who knew ✌😆🤣
Just hearing the introduction from the fellow called barnaby made me changed channel. Making excuses for Newcastle. Heard enough from biased commentators
