I think you are overplaying Jacks comments and their effect ever so s-lightly lol. And underplaying the role Eddie Howe has played in Almirons renaissance.
We are gathering such a powerful, unstoppable momentum, fitness levels are ridiculous we are just steam rolling teams and they can't handle the aggression and pace. Eddie Howe and his staff have really worked miracles with players who were average at best before he got there. Almiron, Joelinton, Schar, Willock, Longstaff especially have all improved so much technically and look really fit and sharp. Howe isn't just a manager he is a world class coach who can take players to a new level. He deserves all the praise he gets
Almiron has been a crucial part of this team, best of all he is already home and we don't have to spend anything in these windows for a player with extreme potential. With this squad we have, he will certainly compete among the best in the championship
I love this commentator! His energy is amazing! Also I just want to shout out to the balls Schar is pinging long, he's really looking like a top class player. Everyone else gets all the credit they deserve but I don't hear Schar getting praised enough!
we are unstoppable now. Hopefully, Fabian.S stay with us forever. His vision and diagonal passes are absolutely insane as a CB. Not many CB can do like that in nowadays.
I think keepers forget that if they are outside their box won't take fouls that easily. Wilson and Lloris went for the ball and Wilson had only eyes for the ball! That was a good decision from the referee!
Saying this every week now but another massive performance from everyone. The best and most exciting Newcastle United in my lifetime. Brave with and without the ball, aggressive all over the pitch and a never say die attitude! LOVE ITTTT!! E-I-E-I-E-I-O UP THE PREMIER LEAGUE WE GO ⬛️⬜️
Miggy what a guy always like him he has taken a lot of stick over the years but he is now showing what some people have seen what he can do including me always tries always smiles and never gives up this is his season I think he has 10 goals in him this season love the lad
Imagine if we could add the likes of Maddison & Diaby in the January window..? As good as we are right now, we literally would be a force to be reckoned with! What a time to be a NUFC supporter. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️😀👍❗️
I'm nota a Geordies but got to say the way Howe has got you playing with a passion your present team could surpass the Keegan era To think what he's achieved in a year is remarkable
As Tottenham fan since Martin Jol was a manager i'm delighted to see Newcastle's progress They are really solid and dangerous to every opponent Great team work, Eddie Howe seems extremely good and useful and motivating, wish Newcastle be at the top
What a day for us in Serbia, who support our champion Crvena Zvezda and Newcastle (and hopefully multiple English champions in the future). Red Star won away from home in the 97th minute, and then Newcastle beat Tottenham...a wonderful day. I had to split screen and watch both games because they were playing in the same time slot...what a joy !!! My joy at this kind of Newcastle game is indescribable... I congratulate all the fans on a new victory !!!
What a performance! The lads may be knackered after a grueling week, heroes one and all. Who would have expected 7 points from games including Man U & Spurs away. Come on you Mags!!!!
I liked how Linton didn't play that up, it wasn't a penalty and they got it right and the Almiron goal was amazing, big win for Newcastle and Eddie Howe.
Newcastle are fucking beautiful and the Irish commentary is like Irish cream on a double whiskey 🥃 fuck I love this club. The team with the black and white stripes ! Fuck me. It’s heaven
9:50 the emotion of Eddie here, and then Conte coming to him after the match for a quick handshake. This is happening. Newcastle are doing it for real. And it's just the beginning. Can't wait to see this happening with the greats, Klopp and Guardiola. We may or may not get them this year, but it will happen eventually, and it's going to feel soooo good!! ⚫️⚪️
Made a Champions League team look second best all over their own pitch. To execute a game plan like that, just days after giving everything against Everton and Man Utd is incredible. Shows they're not just words from Eddie and the boys when they say they take it one game at a time.
They got in the CL last year. This year has been a disaster as to how they're playing. Don't know how we've been getting away with it up to now. Newcastle play like a team. Spurs play like a bunch of individuals who have never met each other. Fair play to the Toon, they thorougly deserved the win and good luck for the rest of the season.
spurs are shit and depend on counter attacks plus their clinical forwards moments of class. this is not to say newcastle isnt good though, they are infact way better than spurs
Some of my peers supporting other clubs asking me how come Miggy has all of a sudden burst onto the scene. The simple answer - Eddie and his coaching team. God sent really. ❤
i'm not a fan but interested and watched some games. Didn't eddie bench him or limited his time last season when he came in? took him till end of season to fully believe him. I can't remember the steve bruce era as it was too long ago for my brain. Always wanted the best for Almiron. Was happy when he joined the Prem. We all saw his effort, his anxiousness during first year, and his pace. Reminds me of how Daniel james is right now and Vinicius was before he finially added end product.
@@mikehank2896 That goal tonight showed what he actually is capable of. Agree with you that he wasn’t necessarily the first name on the team sheet early days under Eddie. I’m just as happy as you for him that he has finally found his feet. Long May it continue.
You can thank Eddie Howe for his brilliant man management skills and Jack Grealish for lighting the fire in his belly. What a turnaround! Well done Miggy 🔥🔥🖤🤍🖤🤍
Who was it that said Newcastle is like a train with no breaks? Once that feel good factor hits, Newcastle is like a run away train. I look at the table and I'm taken back to the 90s where Newcastle gave one of the gratest ever Barcelona teams a footballing lesson in their own back yard.
Another win. Another week going into work chuffed because of these lads putting their absolute all on the line. Wrote “proud of the lads today” ALOT recently but this was a very good win. Bruno will get the praises for doing aj all nighter and running the show of course. But to a man we were class.
Great shift by all of the lads, nice to see Jonjo come on at the end too. Feel like he could give Bruno freedom to go forward in other games. Up the toon.🎉
Awesome all around great performance by the starting 11 of newcastle united, fabian schar reminds me of the great mexican defender from fcbarcelona in 2006 rafa marquéz with those extraordinary long passes, almiron looked like he ate lionel messi, and bruno guimaraes and joelinton same top level as xavi and iniesta on the midfield, but anyhow the VAR was playing against us once again with the goal decision of wilson vs lloris should of been validated, and the hand of emerson in the penalty area easily could of finished 4-1 for the magpies but a win is a win and 3 more points for the black and white place us in the dreamed UEFA champions league positions its extraordinary to be a newcastle united fan since alan shearer days and now even better howay the lads!⚫⚪👏👏👍
That's some somewhat strange logic. Had the pen been given, it's unlikely that their goal immediately after the shout would have stood. I'd personally rather look at it like we were fortunate for Wilson's goal to stand as let's be honest, if it was against us, we would feel aggrieved. Thus it balances out in the same game that the pen wasn't given. Speaking of that pen shout though, if Burns one against Brentford was given which didn't change the flight of the ball at all, then this one should have been. But yes, swings in roundabouts, important thing is, we didn't end up being punished by VAR, we won! 😀
8.30 VAR and Ref still stopping Newcastle United progress, Looking for any excuse not to gve Wilson goal, Amazed VAR never looked into Miggys goal as someone in away end sneezed,
Spent so many years wondering, if the players don't give a shit, why should I? I know we're probably not going to finish top 6, but jesus it's fun watching what Howes got the lads doing. Also whoever decided to make Trip the skip, I salute you, not only is he a great leader, but him having to stand next to Pope in the lineup cracks me up every game.
Great performance again. I wish Grealish would make some comments about longstaff too so he can improve like almiron. I’m sorry to say but he continues to lose the ball every damn time. Not good enough at PL level
Look at the positives mate, 8:08 that Longstaff run and cross out of nothing could've resulted in a pen, which we got VAR f'ed for.. You must be a new Mag supporter
He clearly is good enough at PL level. He may not be good enough for where we want to be in the PL longtime, but he’s certainly earned his stripes this season, considering how bad he (and the rest of them) was under Bruce.
@@TheDrewit76 Couldn't agree more massive improvement compared to under Bruce's.. There's a reason Eddie is constantly picking him.. would like to see more involvement from Elliot A though
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate his effort. But to compete at the top you cannot have a guy with such a heavy touch and ponderous nature. Great backup and squad player no doubt, but shouldn’t be more than that. I’m nervous every time he gets the ball
@@richardr951 From the many games I watched Longy he thrives with available options in front of him which is why Willock and Miggy is so important to his play.. they're so mobile and never stops running.. Bruno great but not as mobile.
Can we talk about the handball 🤔 can’t remember who it was but I saw a one given recently where it’s was way less obvious than that and let’s not forget Dan burns one he wasn’t even looking at the ball. The rules of handball are very grey.
