Thank you so much for the video. I have a question about flushing the ABS pump. Does it mean that the brake fluid in the ABS pump is connected to the brake system, but we can't flush the fluid in there if we don't activate the ABS. So we can bleed the brake system first, then activate the ABS while driving to get the new fluid into the ABS pump, and then bleed the brake system again after that. I have two questions here: by doing this we don't seem to know if the old fluid in the ABS pump has been thoroughly flushed out? And does this process require some auxiliary instrument/computer to tune the vehicle? Thanks!
To gain access to the master cylinder, what I did was cut the plastic where they narrowed at the grilles (2 points). The grille/cover can be flipped up as they hinge on the long piece of rubber. In summary, once those 2 pieces of narrow plastic were cut, all I had to do was lift the segment of that rubberized foam hood gasket then lift the grille/cover then the master cylinder is fully accessible.
@@cm1086 thanks for your comments. Any good diagnostic software what is bidirectional so be good to work on this car. Make sure it supports maintenance functions like ABS, parking brake service etc. there are lots to choose from. Like Launch, Think car or Autel.
