Thank you so much for your very special talents you share with so many! This song today has touched me deeply, it was the comfort I needed! My husband has been diagnosed with kidney cancer and we have some decisions to make. I was in need of God's comfort and this song confirmed His care and promise He is with us. Also your violin playing is so beautiful and has inspired me to want to try and learn to play one. I have one picked out to order, just a cheap one, but I'm excited to get it, it's pink! Amen sister Rose I am deeply moved by this song and it’s message, it reminds me of my dad he loves this song one of his favorite collections of hymns my dad is a SBC pastor and I’m his pianist in the Philippines and here in california, I missed my dad so much, even my dad got a lots of health issues, he never complained why he goes through all that health problems, but he still praising the Lord he knows God really cares, I’m sure he is singing always in heaven with our Lord, thank you for sharing this beautiful music keep serving the Lord, God bless.

Thank you so much for this song...I've just lost a long awaited baby girl, she only lived for 4 days, and now I feel lonely and stressed due to the everyday challenges of caring for my 2 kids, doing household chores while recovering from the pains of CS and tubal ligation. I felt as if no one's cares for me, no one encourages and comforts me.... But when I attended church this morning and we sang this hymn, it reminds me that when it seems that nobody cares, Jesus is there and He feels my pains and griefs, and He cares.

Rosemary:God has blessed you with an awesome voice to bring life to this song. I had an encounter with the Lord over 40 years ago after my mom passed. One night when I couldn’t sleep tossing and turning I cried out to God for peace…He reached out HIS hand and held mine and we sang this entire song together. I slept peacefully after but when I awakened that morning I only remembered “I KNOW HE CARES”I didn’t know the rest of the lyrics until a friend sent them to me. That Sunday in church on the cover of the program was an outstretched hand and written next to it in very large print were the words “HE CARES”. Whenever I share this testimony I can’t hold the tears back because of the anointing. It truly was a REAL GOD-ENCOUNTER. Today I share “DOES JESUS CARE?” With friends and family experiencing challenges, especially grief. YOURS IS THE BEST RENDITION…(OF THE GOOSEBUMPS KIND!). May GOD continue to bless you and use you for HIS GLORY as you minister in song. 😇💓. Jean

I have not heard this hymn before and to hear about the man who wrote it and his life's grief makes it more. Poinant. Dear Rosemary I have tried to sign up for petrreon and it's not being easy peasy . It's such a blessing to me especially since at my generation the hymns were basically going out of the church . I've been asking at my church and others to bring back the hymns, this one hit home today thank . Also it is well with my soul.. haratio absolutely love that one.
