This video was put together really well Bob it was top tier. Have to say your new Snake Oil is just fantastic especially when paired with Stars and Stripes the dirt practically falls off.
Your interior details make me have a ASMR reaction. You should do a compilation video of just interior detailing with the sounds, no music. This is really great stuff!
@@sebc58 ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. That tingle you get that starts in your scalp and runs down your neck and shoulders, followed by relaxation because you heard or seen something that triggered it. That's ASMR. When I hear the brushes and the squish of the liquid and see the foam as he's detailing the interior it hits me. It is super satisfying!
I just subscribed to your channel. You got a bad ass channel. I’ve been watching all your videos now I’m watching the one that you’re watching the crane. I love to see this challenge. Keep up the good work and I think you got some product and I’m looking forward to ordering from you soon. I need some detailed verses for my truck as well.
My shop haven’t had hot water in forever but the best investment I ever did was get hot water on demand it clips onto your water line and thats it you dont even need a hot water tank. And its hella cheap.
For the person that was having issues, you also have to account for he's doing it in his shop which is probably heated to a certain point- he's wearing a t-shirt in the video. There are a lot of factors that go into the process and you would have to do your dd. So since they sell you the product, what you do and how you use it is dependent on you.
The person that was having problems with the soaps might also be experiencing issues with hard water which will make a clean car seem dirty gotta make sure u dry anything you wash or use a di or ro water setup minimum that's been the biggest difference maker that will allow the job the soaps do to show
Also, does he have a "real" pressure washer, or a cheap 120v thing from Home Depot. The pressure is so low you really got to get close. This was a nice cleaning though.
Def yeah water hardness is a tough variable, I like to just use mediocre city water at my studio to help it be realistic but there’s much worse water out there still
@Chem-X definitely I found out the hard way was having a hard time getting the trucks to look clean no matter what I used back in the day. U can make a decent/cheap ro filter setup with a 55 gallon plastic drum and a few cheap ro membranes not enough for washing alot of trucks but u can get probably 5 or so a day washed super clean lol match that with the triple s setup an its the easiest best wash you will ever have
I have a truck stop and just started washing trucks, what pressure washer and GPM should I use. I currently am using Pro 50 but am looking to test your product. I have spent money testing different products and the one I am using is so far the best one, sometime it works great. as you know time is money and I will order your product to test it side by side with the one I am currently using.
@@ChemX Your great doing this. I had a mobile wash and a full drive thru truck wash back in Ohio. I had 43 of my own trucks running coast to coast and ever trip thru the yard they were cleaned. Back then I only had ZEP and DUbois Chemicals to use. I enjoy every video and your chemicals are awsome.
This stuff is awesome and I wondering how good your prouducts would work on a snow plow like the big dot trucks cause they get dirty and covers in salt and dirty snow and I wondering if your prouducts would help the trucks to reach the 20 years we expect out of the trucks and we wash them as best we can but stuff can get missed and there a white residue left behind and I was wondering if you can wash a dot plow truck and see what your product’s would do on it and how clean you would clean you can get it’s and maybe even use some of this stuff on my truck like the snake oil and heavy duty
@@ChemX thanks and yeah snow I coming in hard already had two storms in the past two weeks where I live and I’m excited to see how it turns out actually been thinking of buying one of you lots for my personal pickup your prouducts look like they do a amazing job and y’all seem to care about your customers and keeping the vehicle nice which to me is a make of a good business and business owner
I just coated one in my last video that is going to be stored outside actually, pretty much all of my customers use snake oil on vehicles that are stored outside though and it's been holding up for months with no issues
Hi bro I'm from México but I have a question ! Where do you get the x stripes body shampoo? Or do you have a link to be able to order it from Mexico, please! Thanks bro! I like your Chanel! This video is super cool!
I’ve always wondered; how much does a wash like this cost for a vehicle that big? I looked on google and it was saying like $100-$150. But that can’t be right can it? I’m sure the high quality materials used would be at least half that if not more. Doesn’t seem like much profit for such a big job!
Caked on quick lime. The company I work for has 8 dump trucks with 12 yrs of quick lime cakes on. New boss wants them clean. We're having difficulty finding how to do that.
Geez!! I’m really digging the videos and online stuff I can find. Definitely going to try the Stars and Stripes and the snake oil is a hilarious name!! Not looking for magic, just something for quick touch-less washes 🦾 Question: If I dilute the one gallon to 4:1 or 3:1, how many f-150s could I wash for the two ratios? And one more thing, what happens if this gets into the sea or water/fish pond? Basically, can I use this at a wet dock and not kill aquatic life?
Can you cut the tire shine with distilled water when using the spray gun? You're supposed to do that for other tire shines (i.e. Optimum Tire Bond Gel) when using it with a spray gun.
How's the touch less technology so far? Does it ruined clear coat long term cause any damage as they used to say? same as for ceramic coating or waxes applied to cars? is the soap harsh?
About 20 years back my family used to make some really harsh two step stuff that did hurt clear coat, glass and polished aluminum, I've been working up to this current generation of formulas to address that ever since and over the last two years I've been very happy with the results. I've actually seen no issues on clear coats or glass, and the only thing I've seen issues on is if stripes dries on polished aluminum before you rinse it it can leave a slight haze which would have to be polished, the solution there is not not foam an entire truck down at once esp if your out in the sun. Ceramic is not impacted at all, wax would take a slight hit with each wash tho
I’m at 5.5 here and it’s probably mid range, not ideal but not horrible, a lower grain hardness would help the soaps work better and leave less water spots, that’s why I blow dry stuff that I wash before the water leaves any spots behind
What if you used a scale to measure out how much of the product is used. We know 1gal has 128oz, weighing it after would show the total of ounces used. Cool Idea.🤔
How does stars and stripes not effect paint over time? Seems like the low ph of stars and high alkaline of stripes would be pretty rough ? Dont get me wrong i really enjoy using your products. But i don't want to kill my paint on my 2022 peterbilt..
I have had experience in my life about 20 years back now using two step soaps that did negatively impact clearcoat, glass and polished aluminum, so my goal with this current set of stars+stripes formulas was to address those issues and they have been very very good on those levels over the last two years now. Thanks for using my stuff bud I appreciate it a lot!
So the main thing is actually the gallons per minute, the spec I use is 2400psi@3.5gpm usually, more gpm gives more power and faster washing and rinsing while not presenting as much danger as higher psi does. I've used 3600psi@8gpm without damaging a thing though, because it's all about not getting too close to the surface lol
The soap just loosens the grime so that the psi can remove it, so I apply the soap quickly and spend a lot more time rinsing at high psi to scrub the surface clean, I'd love to sell more soap lol but it isn't necessary😂🤷♂️
Hi this touchless soap is good for cars is ceramic coat on that I have a mobile detailing business, interest to buy the products but I need more informed
I'm in Masscahusetts bud, I move all my products primarily through my website chem-x.com but my guys also help customers on the phone at (800)624-5403 if you prefer
No those are just pre diluted 4:1 so you can run em right through a foam cannon or normal downstream injector. You would save the pail once empty, add four gallons water and one gallon concentrate to refill em, that keeps the cost as low as I can get it
I've actually never charged to wash a vehicle, but I did have her pick up my Christmas tree to put it over my building at the end that was payment enough lol😁🍻👏
@@ChemX you just make enough off selling the product and posting youtube videos? Next time I'm in New England I'll have to get an appointment 😁 my truck would be a difficult one 😉
@@middletnpyro That would be fun man yeah send me an email to orders@chem-x.com so we can be sure to get together! Yeah I get a lot of website traffic from my videos and that gets me by just fine, I like to wash for free it always makes someones day plus they never tell me when I miss a spot hahahaha😂
@@ChemX uploaded a vid to my channel spraying the tire shine out of hplv gun on my personal truck, it worked fabulous, had the pressure around 30-40 psi, no overspray 👍🏼👍🏼
Also the user needs to make sure they have enough pressure and GPM. You're ysing a pretty heavy duty pressure washer set up. The average guy doesn't use anything like that.
I have been an operator for almost 40 years. I have washed, and waxed Cranes many times over. I cannot say I have ever enjoyed it. Especially a Terex. They are a garbage crane. Terex makes decent scrapers but as far as cranes go they are the worst cranes on the market IMO.
