Yeah, the ZM-2 is only rated for 15W, so I have to be careful and make sure I have my power turned down before transmitting! 73 de KO4TFE

I just worked China and Korea 5 watts to a Buddy pole today. 10 meters no work.

Its hard. but its FUN! worked 6000 Km SSB on 20 with just 2 watts from my hand with my KX2 antenna from elekraft. QRP is so much fun. do more with less .. Keep up the nice HAM !

Always happy to get you in the log. My antenna was actually oriented such that most radiation should have been N/S. You never know what the bands are going to do!

Qrp is easy. What is hard is the other people who have to pull in your weak signal.

You're right. In reality there is only 2 S units difference between 5 watts and 100 watts. So much is depending on bend conditions.

Last 12 years working qrp pota sorta and portable ops and now moved up to 20 watts. All of the sudden everyone seems to hear my signal and able to pull me out of the noise @@KYFriedHam
