Don’t view grief as a bad thing….it shows the extent of the love you had for the person that passed! Nobody can be strong all the time , it isn’t possible! You’re stronger than you probably think you are! X

I cannot begin to understand your grief , ( I'm a mum of 2 adult daughters and one son) I dont think that I would be able to hold it together and and be able to talk about things the way you do . You are so right Georgina, I lost my mum 2 1/2 years ago and I understand your feelings and pain. What you said in your kitchen really resonated with me. You are fine and everythings normal until there is a certain trigger and it all comes crashing down. The pain never goes away but we do learn to deal with it a bit better as time goes on. We are stronger and more resiliant than we think. Big hugs

I fully understand the one little thing setting you off. I know it’s not the same but I lost my Nan 3 years ago. She was one of my favourite people. It was really sudden and we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. You should never apologise for grief.

I think this is how any trauma can work. What you been through is incredibly traumatic so do give yourself the space to feel those emotions if you need to. Totally normal. We all can be fine but as you say not necessarily grief but anything that can grind on someone, it can be the smallest thing and before you know it a happy mood is constantly changed to depressed. I think normal to feel like that. Reach out if need anyone. We all do sometimes x

my brother passed away April 2021 and io still get emotional days and start crying for no reason I really miss my brother it was like losing my right arm
