Flying airplanes comes with a lot of responsibility. There are times when the decisions you make can be tough. In this video we fly the TBM850 on a flight with bad weather. I am giving away a Garmin VIRB360 Camera. To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this video telling us what you would film with the new camera, like the video, and share it! Good luck to everyone.

Hello fellow Steveo fan: every Vlog he posts is like a present to us. Now he is putting a VIRB for us on top of it. I want to invite you to join me and many others that already support Steveo on Patreon. It is the least you can do. The next thing is to invite others to see his videos and smash even more Like Buttons. What are you waiting for? Go, please, and thank you!!

I was a patron, and the only reason I stopped is that I could not come to terms in using any of my disposal income , after savings, to be used other than helping the poor. If I won millions I’d buy a PC-12 and do humanitary flying. In the meantime I send clothing, food, money to the underprivaleged in the carribeans and South America. I lived amongst the poor in the Dominican Republic for one year and I was shocked to see how some kids live. Truly heartbraking. I do love the chanenel.👍

I stopped asking “what if” 22 years ago. I truly would like the camera to document the progress of my teenage sons. All 3 are exceptional in their own right. One pursuing trades like me, the other two ; the military. Officer material both. It’s great to witness them all becoming men and it’d be great to document it in pictures and film. Thanks SteveO

As a new private pilot that is currently working on my instrument rating, your videos are so helpful and educational. No matter how rudimentary your flight may seem to a seasoned pilot like yourself, I always learn from watching you fly. I've often wondered how to deal with a situation such as this, with weather moving in quickly and blocking published missed, I now know how to communicate with ATC to get a safe alternate. As a new pilot at 41 years of age, who is mostly flying my family to and from, I wanted to say thanks for continuing the educational and entertaining videos. I know a lot of work goes into this so thank you! If I were to win the Garmin VIRB360 I would use it to debrief with my instructor to become a better and safer pilot. Knowing that I have the lives of my loved ones on board pushes me to be the best I can be as a pilot. As a long boarder, I hope that Boosted Boards will sponsor you in the future because that is one thing I would love to have to get around the airport and be able to keep up with my 11 year old, which has a ton more energy than I do! Please keep the videos coming Steveo and congratulations on all the success!

Don't attempt the needle threading he did in this video. Playing chicken with thunderstorms, especially without in cockpit weather radar is a recipe for hurt. Be safe with you and your family...an instrument rating is not a license to challenge big weather.

As a CFII, I would use the Garmin camera as a teaching tool to provide students with the capability to critically analyze our training flights. The ability to record cockpit instrumentation, audio communications and view the exterior environment in an "off-line" mode would be very valuable for their flight training.

Hey, Steve! I am an aspiring pilot living in Brazil due to start flight lessons early 2019. I will be 470 miles away from my family and friends throughout the course and that camera would really help me record my experience and make me feel closer to them by sharing the footage. My little brother shares my passion for aviation and it would also help me inspire him even more. Thank you for your great content!

Ny neighbor flys for AA, he flew an A320 down to Orlando Fl from Charlotte NC, he said he had tankered fuel for the return trip but wound up burning ALL of it just trying to get into Orlando. 3 1/2 hours of fuel for a 1 1/2 hour trip... He said he was worn slap out picking his way around all those storms, great job Steveo :-)

Hey you two, I sympathise, but cheap action cams are around $50, they'd be good enough to help to stay focused between lessons. If your paying for lessons as a 13 or 14 year old, perhaps you can get yourself a camera. I learned to fly in a 152 at 17 :)

Wow, you snuck in there with almost nothing to spare,.. in '97 I did one of those and ran into a downshear that gave us quite a bump! And was like bringing down a bucking bull, but eerily enough the last 40' to the ground was still and smooth (actually a steady crosswind, but compared to the edge of the storm was smooth!) And going to admit getting caught in a sucker hole that closed in my route before as well..nothing quite is like the experience being in red cells with water that is like being under the waves in the ocean, and buffeting around until your teeth feel like they are being loosened..and nothing feels as good as getting through that and coming out into some relatively decent weather after! Oh and I would LOVE to have the Garmin 360, and the images from those is outstanding! And I feel their aviation equipment and camera lines are the top notch of what is available, but even the sunglasses would be great too!

Steve - outstanding video!! As a new IFR pilot, it was super educational. The two best points were your thinking on the alternate and working the decision making process for it and the second was moving the missed approach. Just my thoughts but the regional plane was not even thinking about the missed approach, great thinking ahead.

Hey Steveo, you are a huge inspiration to many people out there to get into aviation. As a student and (hopefully) future commercial pilot myself, I have learned a lot about the life of a professional pilot from your vlogs. I'm starting at a great aviation school this fall (UND), and would love to have the Garmin VIRB camera to record some of my adventures over the next four years and after. I'm sure a lot of people want that camera, and I don't have any particularly 'inspiring' tales about why I would deserve it or should win. I just want to be able to share my flights with my friends, family, and other aspiring pilots. I have my PPL check ride the day after next, so winning this camera would be a great way to start off my lifetime career in aviation! Keep up the great videos!

I’d like to enter into win the Garmin because I am going to start filming my flights in an effort to bring more aviation content to RU-vid. 2-mile final on a Cessna is only slightly faster than grass growing. At two miles out you're still probably at 600 to 800 feet up. That's like a minute and a half to touch down.

I would love to have that camera. I’m just starting to make videos as a flight instructor, fire detection pilot, and helicopter flight paramedic. The Garmin would help take the videos to the next level!

Having the camera mounted in the plane would provide great feedback for my IFR training. BTW, watching your single-pilot Ifr vlogs are a cool way to get comfortable getting clearances and the other radio work.

Steveo! Thank you for the time and detail you put in your videos!! I would use this Garmin 360 to tape my son’s first GA flight in a real Cessna O2-A in September for his birthday!

Stevo! You should take someone flying with you as a contest. Like how you give away your Bose headsets. It would be amazing for your fans and give some of your fans who aren’t pilots a first hand experience on what it takes to fly.

Great video. Reggie looked nervous! Your timing was perfect. Nice to see you had an alternative missed approach procedure all ready to go if needed.

A lot to deal with on that flight! I just passed my ppl in the uk and while I will not be flying in those conditions it’s great to see how you manage your work load. Keep making these great vlogs.

Great video, had a weather decision a week ago and remember what you said from this video. My flight instructor and I changed our plans and avoided some severe thunderstorms and wind sheer while prepping for my first solo. I would use a camera to debrief my solo flights with my instructor to accelerate my training towards my PPL.

After I'm finished healing from surgery I'll be pursuing a professional pilot career! Thank you for the amazing videos giving me a glimpse of what I have to look forward to! I'd be using the Garmin VIRB360 to capture the beauty of the Pacific NW ocean while scuba diving. It'd also be put to use during my adventure of becoming a pilot and beyond. Long days and pleasant nights on Earth Steveo!

Why id like the Garmin VIRB 360 camera? Cause I’m a fan of all aviation VLOGs, just upgraded from a grumman tiger to an A36tc and would love to have a high quality camera to help record the transition and share that knowledge with others. What I love about the flying community is the overwhelming urge to share with others not only the experience but also the lessons learned, keeping us all safer and sharper pilots.
