But most of the tutorials on youtube or exam sample questions I see, are using windows OS or c# in some form. I only know Linux and hesitating to invest my time and money to learn windows and c#. I want to start devops and cloud computing and recently completed my undergraduate. after whole lot of research I think entering as a data Engineer is good option coz in data engineering module both topics r included. Moreover, I think it's a very difficult path and the journey is too long . My main focus is cloud architect but the recruiter want some experience in it that's why I am choosing this path. Hi GK, what's scope of on premise k8s deployment. We have done it one project and struggled alot from basic Dockerfiile to deploying ingress etc. We are struggling with hostalias entries in helm subcharts for dotnet6 apps and appsettings which differ env wise. Can u suggest this learning is good to proceed in k8s direction.
Good question, there are companies that are still using on-prem K8's, but most of the work is on the cloud. It's a struggle but you will learn a lot more than K8's on the cloud and it will be easy when you actually work on the cloud.
