You may never see this comment, but I just wanted to say that you seem very authentic and grounded. I've followed you for years and have watched you grow as a person and I love all of the positivity even when it's not easy. You are a class act. On another note, as a female viewer, I want to tell you that you get more handsome as time goes on. I know you said the beard is itchy but it really suits you. One last thing about competing, it's a subjective sport and if you have to cheat and put your health at risk to level up, it's not worth it in my opinion. I have the utmost respect for natural competitors and their hard work. Wishing you the best.

well I just finished up Thanksgiving and plopped down to catch up on my youtube subscriptions ... I gave it my all, 25 years of faithful marriage, struggled to pay 4 years of college for my daughter, had a series of 3 heart surgeries and lost my career due to illness ... just to find out this past month that my wife has decided to move out with my 21 year old daughter and start a new life without me ... I sit alone, empty, lost ... I never knew a human could suffer as much loss as I have in one lifetime and still draw breath ... but today your words are full of wisdom, and this video came to me with our Lord's perfect precision ... I am ready now to jump back in, hit the gym this week, and start life back up again 100% !!

Steve, please don't be influenced by the social media world that for the most part, doesn't believe in Jesus as their Savior. Its obvious you have some sort of Christian background. Don't shy away from sharing your faith; you have such an influence on people so use it 100%. "All the biblical stuff" as you put it is really the only thing that matters in the end. When you stand before your heavenly Father when you die, he's not going to ask you what you bench. Don't get me wrong, I love lifting and I learn a ton from you so thanks. Jesus preached in Mathew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The Case for Christ is great, read it and watch the movie. Read your Bible every day and don't be afraid to share what you learn and know.

Hey Steve, I have been searching RU-vid for good positive figures and it is very hard to sift through all the content from different content creators. I just wanted to thank you for being one of the good ones, you have a very infectious positive attitude and high energy content filled videos that just make us want to get up and make the world a better place in whatever ways we can. This is one of the best videos you have ever put up on your channel in my very humble opinion. Non of us are perfect. We need to stop trying to be and stop worrying about making mistakes. Just go all in with whatever you are doing and if it ends up being the wrong thing than that's okay. Change direction and move on. And I love that you are reading Case For Christ by Lee Strobel. Just a little simple tip for anyone out there. I started meditating/sitting in silence for about 5 minutes when waking up and just focussing on my goals. Sets me up for the day and I find I'm much more focussed and likely to do things that are beneficial to my goals. Simple hack and quite effective
