I work as aa handyman and I buy everything Toughbuilt makes, the are a new company and they listen to our feedback and make corrections to their products. Their tool belts and pouches are the only i will ever use and knee pads are awesome. hopefully they will fix these issues in the future, until I'm sold on everything they make... thanks for the vid
Great Review! I was looking at that Toughbuilt stand and thought much of the same. I ended up buying the Harbor Freight Hercules, which is an improved version of the DeWalt 723/725 Miter saw stand. It has the wheels and handle, and large roller/feed supports that the Dewalt lacks. Other than that I'm pretty sure they are made in the same China factory. The entire large center beam is made of aluminum which saves a ton of weight. It can be stored vertically on its own small feet on 1 end. It was $ 169.00 with a 15% off coupon when I purchased it normally $199.00. Hope that helps others.
I really like my Hercules miter stand from Harbor Freight, pretty solid build and doesn't feel rinky dink. I'm surprised at Toughbuilt, since the products I own by them, like their wide mouth tool box, utility knife, and folding jab saw, and saw horses are top notch and very well designed.
The large tires really caught my attention but as the video unfolded i realized they were probably its best feature. Its now 5 yrs later maybe they've improved it....thanks
Picked this up today at Lowes, for my DeWalt Miter. I just assembled it and mounted the saw. It is a nice stand. Here to see if there is a way to make it free stand while folded. I can't seem to figure that out.

Luckily I have to return a Milwaukee Surge & was planning on using that credit towards it. @thedaytonagym1i do agree toughbuilt pouches are my fav so far! I am a finish carpenters apprentice and my boss has every tool under the sun (30+ year vet) so I haven't needed anything to crazy, he says use his. but he doesn't take great care of his tools. So I figured it is time for me to expand my personal tool collection! I kinda balled out this BLK fri! DeWalt FlexVolt 12" Slider Compound miter (dual bevel duh!? 😂) today was my first day with her out the box and I had to take his rusted old brackets off the widow maker to put on my glistening beaut to get her up on the stand for 🍒 pop'n! A whole lot of wire brushing and Teflon spray later to get the bolts loose and I said f' this noise!? I have to get my own stand asap! DeWalts stand is way to expensive. That $250 could go towards a Flexvolt table saw or Fuel 8 1/4" 😉 I'm kinda sad this stand is only 3 out of 5. Their pouches are awesome! Get home hit the wall "clip tech" up, put my finish pouches on the wall, doing electric sat at my friend's house? Grab my electric pouches & ride out! I'm over here talking to RU-vid comments solo 🤣 I didn't even see the "tray" ToughBuilt said it had? That was gunna be perfect for a stationary fatmax, speed square, pencil ect! I’m torn bc I was completely sold on it given my XP with their pouches & some of the features you showed looked unique but the quality looked sub-par given it’s fairly expensive price... 🙁
Setting this stand up after getting into position is a disaster. My ridgid flips up effortlessly with the 75lb miter saw on it. With this you would still have to bend down and lift it to kick the legs out. Bad for the back.
Trying to decide between the Delta and this for my DeWalt 12" Compound Miter I want a Stand that I can permanently fix as I will be moving it a lot from site to site or upstairs downstairs. I may get this for my table saw but I think the Delta might be better for my Miter saw?
@@volkswagonbeattle2093 I already bought the Toughbuilt Table Saw from Home Depot. It is very sturdy and has a foot pedal to extend and retract table. I will keep the Miter Saw permanently fixed for moving. Thank you. Also got the 3 roll extended stand for use with materials 16 feet long.
The big guys (makita, bosch, dewalt) make nice stands, but pricey. I recently noticed a new stand that caught my eye that seems to address some of the shortcomings of the Toughbuilt for a lot less money. Take a look at the Powertec stand (from HD). I'm hoping to get my hands on one and do a follow up video.
