to answer this thread once and for all... this is indeed a complex scenario, however lets start here: supposedly in the states (or japan in the og japanese version), any action a spirit performs while being channeled is legally considered the responsibility of the channeler as seen in case 2-2, where maya was still being tried for murder despite the fact that even if she "did the crime," it would be really be mimi to blame. in short, a spirit is not considered a separate individual by law from whoever channels their spirit this doesnt seem to apply to khura'in in 6-4 (with dhurke still being considered a suspect of inga's murder even after having proven to be dead before the event even occurred) but thats most likely do to the fact the people are incredibly familiar with practices involving spirits so lewding mia if she was channeled by pearl would be illegal, at least in the US. in terms of morals, though, its... a mixed bag you could say that since the body and consciousness are not of a child during spirit channeling, and thus it would be a-okay to go along with such deeds, but straight up raw-dogging could still hypothetically cause physical harm to pearl in the long-term after the channeling is over. (stds and early pregnancy come to mind, with both may result in, err... the shortening of someone's life) tldr: legally, you're fucked if someone finds out. in terms of ethics however it really depends on what your comfortable with... and if youre courteous enough to wear some goodamn protection like a reasonable, mature adult
