And now for the Extra Stage for this game. It poses a significant challenge like other ones before it but in all reality I don't find this stage too awful difficult. Really the biggest issue is you need to know what you're getting into more so than any boss before this (more on that later). As for the stage itself there's one part that can trip you up but the rest is easily avoidable.
Kanako isn't too bad as a mid boss but does pose a significant threat. Both her first and last spell can really throw you off with how condensed and random the bullet patterns are there.
Now as for Suwako, the theme of this boss is purely memorization. If I had to relate it to her like I've done other bosses I view it as that same way one would memorize countless complex rituals for worshiping a God. Well in here you absolutely have to memorize what Suwako throws at you. If you just try dodging things as you would normally chances are you'll get boxed in a corner and blasted. Perhaps Imperishable Night and Concealed the Conclusion spoiled me but personally I think Suwako would have been much easier if I had spell card practice back so I could figure out how to dodge what she's throwing at me.

Late to the party, but whatever! Suwako's definitely an interesting character when you consider what she chooses to do with her power. For one, we know that these gods are able to change their appearance, yet Suwako's preferred look is this little girl with a silly hat, despite not being a virgin (CANON). She also just lets Kanako move the shrine to Gensokyo and just kinda rolls with it. Lastly, she hides a giant robot underground without telling anyone. I can only conclude that Suwako just loves silly things.

Man, I wish there were more Extra bosses as fun to battle as Suwako. There are some like Mamizou and Raiko, but Suwako still is the most fun for me.

9:12 The first thing I thought when I saw the bullet clusters was that they were little frogs. The bullet on top is the frog's back, and the bullets underneath are the legs! It's the same with the bullet clusters in her first timeout spell, which does have "red frog" in the name.

Uhm, that is the second time out spell, as you can see Suwako phasing out of reality during the spell, exactly like she does when you bomb her other spells.

Suwako's last spell is actually relatively easy if you move almost exclusively vertically. Just quickly take your opportunity to move up and back up if you need to. It works surprisingly well. I was calling it crackhead frogger the first (and only) time I saw it before realizing the humor in calling it such a thing

5:08 wh anyway Geez, I honestly wonder how you had the patience to get the second spell right. That spell is one of the main reasons I find ReimuB to be more viable. And now that I rewatch this, I also remember this was one of the first vids of yours I found out back in like, October last year, (yeah, not exactly a long time sub) when I was trying to do the MarisaB glitch run, and I had no idea how to do the first timeout, well, I can just say this helped a lot. Also those text boxes at the final spell were definitely something I was looking forward to being brought back lmao. Well, onto the SWR reuploads then! Those were also some of the first vids of yours I've watched. -Earthquake Bastard is calling-

Suwako is odd. The stage itself is super annoying, but of all of my extra stage runs, the only one I find easier is Okina. Ran drove me nuts, and the less said about Mouku the better. I also just fund Suwako super fun to play, and she's likely the only extra boss I would repeatedly fight to try an do better against.

11:40 There are two other safe zones here, one on the left where the leftmost tendril curves back onto the screen and another on the top right when the tendril on the right does the same (which is a completely safe spot that all the bullets curve away from, at least until later in the spell).

Hmm, I dunno if this should be the game for newcomers to start with. Sure, you can have more bombs here, but you are basically punished for spamming bombs with a weaker shot after your first bomb at full power. Especially so when you still manage to die despite bombing. But I do agree that the game is simple and easy to get into, and the beautiful visuals (well, apart from some artwork *coughzombiereimucough*) and one of my fav OSTs makes MoF a memorable game I rarely see people capture Moriya's Iron Ring though, that's quite an achievement, and on Marisa no less xD

I do not know why, but this extra stage in particular has to be one of the most tedious and hardest extra stages i have ever seen. I can beat the IN and PCB extra (and phantasm stage) stages with ease, but this one knocks me down bad. People also say this is one of the easiest extra stages, and i actually question myself: Am i an incapable touhou player?

It's a good bit harder than those. I beat all the extra stages before MoF and this one was the beginning of really having to crack down and practice it. The others took practice but ultimately still came pretty quickly.

10:13 how are you so blind?! Of course there is a trick! There is a Safespot! On the up edges!, you can deal damage (not that much but can probably get a spell card bonus probably) with Reimu A!!
