Depending what you like, I like how touhou just kind of creeps into your life. lol. Even though I haven't even played the game or know where to find it
you can find the games on moriya shrine or steam, they are pretty fun. And it isn´t really that hard, yeah it has it difficulty but just learn the patterns and everything is ok (most gameplays are in lunatic, the last difficulty and the hardest)
@@FanMSMK nah dont worry i found that shit already. Im pretty average at bullet hells. I havent beaten a single touhou game on kappa yet though. The most i can do on lunatic is up to stage 3
This ost is fantastic. well, all touhou osts are fantastic, but this one is definetely one of the very bests. The level of composition on these tracks is supreme. Zun is a genius.
This is my favourite touhou ost. this was the only one I could download before my trip for 5 days, I had it on repeat on full volume. Bliss. Best days of my life :,)
SA's Stage 4 is the most memorable Stage 4 in my opinion. The sudden start with piano and choir, plus that powerful meowing of Orin. The colors of black, dark red and magenta, the decor of beautifully stained glass and floors as you fight fairies who appear in patterned waves, those who rip 3 card-shaped danmaku and multiple exponentialy with diferent patterns to accomodate their trajectory. Not to mention that dark and saddening twist that the choir gives. It makes you wonder who this Stage 4 Boss is and what kind of life the girl had. Truly the theme was Heartfelt and The Palace of Earth Spirits, a Fancy place for its decor!
For me it will always be Touhou 8 Imperishable Night. Retribution of the Eternal Night while fighting Reimu and clearing through fairies, then the moon appears as the Zunpets ring out, and Maiden's Capriccio - Dream Battle starts as things get serious, and the music picks up as the spell cards get more intense. Touhou 8 uses weird time signatures and modifications to melodies to represent the stretching and contracting of time in the story, where if you continue, time progresses and eventually you can't finish. The main menu theme, stage 4 theme, and game over theme Evening Primrose all forshadow the events of the game through time signature and melody.
Who doesn't listen to touhou for the whole day, I've been religiously listening to the touhou soundtrack for many years, and still love listening to it now.
my favorite 2hu! Subterranean Animism is absolutely beautiful and is probably some of the most clever, fun and well-paced with a lot of creativity and atmosphere games in the series, and it's Stage 4 is by far the best in the series aswell, which is unique given that usually those are cool but a pain in the ass. Stage 5 is also my personal favorite :D favorite stage theme: Lullaby of Deserted Hell favorite boss theme: Corpse Voyage ~ Be of good cheer!
You venture into "The Dark Blowhole" where "The sealed-away Youkai" coexist. An Earth spider youkai guides you into "The Bridge People No Longer Cross" and at the end of it you spot a youkai with "Green-Eyed Jealousy". past the bridge you find yourself "Walking the Streets of A Former Hell". You meet a proud oni holding "A Flower-Studded Sake Dish on Mt. Ooe". Through the abandoned buildings and streets there stands a large "Heartfelt Fancy" palace where a "Satori Maiden" with a 3rd eye lives with her pet cat. Outside through the courtyard leads you to a place where spirits hum a "Lullaby of Deserted Hell". The crimson black cat from the palace transforms into a humanoid and invites you on a "Corpse Voyage" sailing into the depths of hell. She points towards a flying humanoid with raven-like wings, a red eye in her chest, a "Hellfire Mantle" that holds the universe, and an enigmatic device for an arm that can create "Nuclear Fusion" out of thin air.
this is my favorite touhou ost and game well for a few reasons. one of it is just the timbre of the songs. they sound so "western" but not as in like western pop music but like something like the wild west. it just has a more rustic feel compared to it's adjacent games like MoF, where songs sounded more divine. i just can't explain it. it's like an old cd you'd find at a garage sale somewhere in arizona and that's also why i love it too- it sounds really oldschool. not like sound chip oldschool but it just sounds more MIDI-ish if that makes sense. yeah two things, rustic timbre and oldschool vibes. it's what suits this soundtrack. also i can't forget the characters, i love the characters!!!
