I should not have the mental, nor the physical, capabilities to pull this off...
...but here we are o . o
~80 attempts for timeout
This is a sequel to my "Island timeout" video: • Touhou 13 w/handcam - ...
THIS WAS HELL TO EDIT ON MY CRAPPY PC, maybe because the handcam is 17mbps...? Maybe I'll try replacing it with a 4mbps "substitute" within Vegas next time (temporary, lower quality asset), and hopefully then my PC won't perform as badly while editing... sigh... the needed shitty PC workarounds to avoid irrisory waiting times are endless @.@
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Math:
Wild Deserted Island timeout KPS (with Shift, 5 keys): 5.138KPS
Wild Deserted Island timeout KPS (WITHOUT Shift, 4 KEYS): ~4.922634731KPS
Superhuman timeout KPS (without Shift, 4 keys): ~4.93055555... KPS
This is nearly 5 keys per second with just 4 directional keys ON A SHOOT THEM UP, like, literally a precision game not a mashing game, wtf...
Rendering time: I don't remember, I think 01:30 hours + 01:30 hours = 3 hours (rendered twice because I didn't like how the former outro fitted x_x)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S: I've just noticed the "mic audio" is quite low around 01:14 - 01:24. It didn't sound like much of an issue to me within Vegas, but I can clearly hear it much lower here on the final, rendered video. I apologise for this. Fixing this would be simple but would take an extra 1.5 hours of rendering time. Sorry "^^
Personal opinion: I think the Wild Desert Timeout prequel remains the better video between these two - the movement is much more shaky and showy there, and the handcam lightning and handcam position are way more clean...
...but this took a lot of attempts as you can see, so I really did want to upload it; it's ok, I'll get more of these videos going eventually, and I'll try to fix my recording/editing mistakes and go for more challenging and showy timeouts!!! :D
