Yes, the final spell was tense. Especially since on my last 3 or so captures, Raiko moved to the left, and this time she moved to the right, which I wasn't used to. There was at least one time, maybe two, during the final phase when I thought I'd been hit but somehow survived.
Well, just keep practicing and you'll gradually improve. The genre is like that-- if you're not prepared to make that kind of commitment, perhaps it's not your type of game. I had plenty of experience with other difficult games of other reflex-related genres (like platformers), which I suppose might've helped, but it still took me 4 months of playing Touhou before my first Normal 1cc, and about another year after that for my first Lunatic 1cc.
man you're good, about me i'm stuc at the first shockwave spell this is so random and i don't know how you can do this stage without dying and special shot, how much time did you practice this mode ?
KarisaMirisame This, except IN programs you to have no sense of deathbomb reflex, so maybe also consider PCB. That said, I like to pretend that all deathbombs count double like in IN. Makes my own bomb habits better.
Kappatalist I'm not quite sure what you mean about pretending deathbombs count double. If anything, I'd recommend pretending IN deathbombs cost you a life-- it's easy to underestimate what using twice the bombs will do to your resources over the course of the game. Nice username, by the way.
KarisaMirisame Since deathbombing in IN (in general) costs 2x bombs, it would be advisable to learn how to predict your own death, so you can regular bomb instead and thus avoid wasting bombs. My idea is just a psychological thing. Since IN deathbombing will eat your resources and screw you over in the end, if you act like that's *always* the case, it establishes deathbombing as a bad habit to rely on, because it is. Given that bombs are almost as valuable as lives, IN deathbombs basically are THAT bad. And thanks, same to yourself!
