I didn't find Ringo quite so hard to beat, I took her down quite easily without bombs, quite a surprise seeing as I've only played two Bullet Hells, not counting the Touhou games, and I was really bad at one of them, I kept forgetting my bombs.
Mint Mochi I like them so far They are bit too stressful and intense for early stages imo but considering the game is much more intense and harder than other touhous its okay
Mint Mochi I always feel like that if a new Touhou game (or demo) comes out. It takes some time to get used to them and to notice what ZUN had as a concept. I always tend to like at least 2 to 3 tracks ot of a new game. But until now I am not really blown away. Usually its the Stage 5 theme that get's me though. I like the ULoL themes because they are fresh and bring something new to the OST (like Casino Jazz). And yes, they kind of feel very fast but it seems like there is an interesting climax at the end. Kinda makes you curious. :D I think ZUN had a more classic theme this time around. Having a bit more PC-98 era feel to it. All we can do is wait. ZUN usually does not f**k his games up. They are either mediocre or very good. Same goes for the OST.
Mint Mochi I don't like that this and Doremy's theme are variations of pre-existing tracks that are almost entirely superior - in fact, Seiran's theme is my favorite yet - but it's still better than most early-game music is.
