Dodging 2D Bullet on Lunatic is hard enough, 3D literally multiplies that difficulty with itself. It's not a step above Lunatic. It's Lunatic times Lunatic.
Well 3D spell cards bring 3 vectors of movement = that every re-aiming attacks (like sakuya re-ajusting the movements of her knifes via "za wardo" ing time) will duck u up even more = this being like 4×lunatic on easy lol (and yes u r tottaly allowed to send nerd emojis)[im over-dosed on cafein help] OK the last part was a joke but its like 5 am and i couldnt sleep cuz my duma*s woke up at 12am yesterday bruh
Satisfied? I almost shit my pants the first time I heard that SFX. It *REALLY* sounded like "They are going ALL IN." (Because yes. Considering that by the end both literally fighted with *EVERYTHING* they had, it even seemed like they were about to kill each other lol)
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, holy crap. I wish Touhou wasn't so obscure, because this is part of what makes the franchise so cool.
@@HirokaAkita I don't know about that. For 19 of my 20 years of life, I didn't know what it was, and I'm still yet to find anyone else who really knows what it is. That's pretty obscure to me
@@lotgc that just means you arent looking in the right place. its huge but its also still cult. its very visible in some really public places like it having been represented in every r/place so far
@@lotgcthere is no way your internet friends haven’t seen something that hasn’t been touched by touhou. you know undertale? so do lots of people. inspired by touhou. rn i cant think of any other examples but i bet half+ my ideas for things that may be influenced by touhou are and i just dont realize yet
True. But we can't blame Marisa, that Magicannon vs Fantasy Heaven just felt as if both girls screamed *"If im going to lose, THEN SO YOU WILL DO TOO!"*
I absolutely adore the fact that you put in a lot more detail into spell card naming than you needed to. That change from Master Spark to Double Spark was very neat and I love it!
I don’t really care if you spell wrong name or not, but the purpose of this video was “adding sound effects”! So… yes, I love this so much I even like the “Yin-Yang Sanctuary Orb” how it just “brrbrbrbfffrrrruhhPOM! You know what I mean? 2:50
I already do, hehe^^ No, jokes aside, not because of that (obviously^^) I don't feel offended at all by your answer, it was fairly amusing. But I have to admit, I found it interesting, why exactly should I go to a doctor?^^ In case there is a hidden meaning or irony between your words that I do not grasp yet...I have my difficulties to realize that, even in written form haha^^
summary of this whole fight is "did you do it?" Sakuya literally said "You should have asked that before we fought" the whole stage 4 after Keine could be avoided.
Whoa! I wasn't expecting for someone to make it, even more so that it was actually greatly made! Nice work on the sfx addition and thanks! I've always loved fantastical battle scenes with not just blood boiling music but also sfx. I particularly like the mechanical sounds you added to the watch thing and Marisa's contraption, the sound of click and clacking of it is enjoyable. Btw, do you happen to be a professional sound engineer? Or is this just a hobby of yours? I am curious since you were able to add the sfx well.
*What you did my friend, was completing a masterpiece.* I just hope more people has the honor to see this edit. (Also, when Reimu starts "Fantasy Heaven", aside of your SFX, the only thing i can hear, it's someone screaming "Bets closed!" (?) )
I'm Japanese and my English is extremely bad, so I use Google Translate. You were so good at adding sound effects that it gave me goosebumps! I felt like I was in this fight! Say it in Japanese at the end! 東方projectは最高のゲーム!
HI @supernenechi, I'm glad that you like the 3d animation. The 3d animation is done by MinusT : www.youtube.com/@0minusT The parts I added were the sound effects and text for the spell cards. Please check out the rest of what MinusT as done! They have made a lot more amazing animations like this
I wish this was a game so badly I would play the hell out of a 3d touhou flightsim thing. Also I wish this is how space combat worked in basically any game with space combat. Tracers flying every which way with explosives just blinking in the night. would be better than ww2 but this time with space theme
Update I have found something that kinda scratches that itch if you squint hard enough and are willing to travel back in time game design wise to roblox knockoff games that were popular in the mid 2010s. Its got a ways to go but its better than nothing!
This sound effects are on point, and adding the name of each spell card was pretty cool too. My only complaint is that the sfx are a bit too loud and they completely overpower the bgm, and a pretty big part of the coolness of MinusT's animations is how well the fight syncs up to the music.
To catch the ones you misidentified, misnamed (as in, you got the spell card right, but the name wrong) or just plain missed... I don't think the attack before Event Horizon is a spell card at all. I think the one right after Master Spark is Spirit Sign "Fantasy Seal", which is Reimu's bomb in IN. While chronologically, Spirit Sign "Fantasy Orb" _does_ exist at this point given that it was in IaMP, it's unlikely it's a reference to that, given that this animation is explicitly about Imperishable Night. The name of Reimu's spell card which clashes with Marisa's Non-directional Laser (And given the massive spike in bullet density before Reimu disengages, they likely used both the Normal and Hard/Lunatic versions of the spell) is, in order, Dream Sign "Evil Sealing Circle", Divine Arts "Omnidirectional Oni-binding Circle" and Divine Arts "Omnidirectional Dragon-slaying Circle". The name of Reimu's spell card with which she tries to fight back against Double Spark is called Great Barrier "Hakurei Danmaku Barrier", the Hard/Lunatic version of Boundary "Duplex Danmaku Barrier". The spell card you labelled as Fantasy Nature is actually Spirit Sign "Fantasy Seal -Concentrate-", as the bullet pattern she fires from the orbs is that spell's pattern (and yes, "Fantasy Seal -Concentrate-" does also use the Yin-Yang orbs) rather than Fantasy Nature. Marisa used Starlight Typhoon against Omnidirectional Dragon-slaying Circle, the Spell Card she uses against "Fantasy Seal -Concentrate-" is still Light Blast "Shoot the Moon". Remember, Starlight Typhoon is a Hard/Lunatic version of Non-directional Laser! If it helps to remember, you could maybe consider Marisa starting that assault by using the Easy/Normal version of the spell card, Light Sign "Earthlight Ray". Reimu's final spell with which she faces Final Spark is likely her own last spell, Divine Spirit "Fantasy Seal -Blink-". Lastly, Yukari and Alice use their spell cards to block Reimu and Marisa's. More specifically, they use their bombs; Yukari's is Border Sign "Quadruple Barrier", whereas Alice's is Magipulation "Return Inanimateness".
I'm a year late, but by golly does the SFX add a whole new dimension to the video! Once minusT releases Sakuya v Youmu, I can only hope that the SFX will be a tad more quieter as mentioned by others - it did really undermine the BGM, to the point where you could barely make it out in some parts. Even then, it fit in perfect! Great work! Also, that Yin-Yang Orb sound effect... I'm in love.
@@WomanSlayer69420 Nah all of the danmaku bullets are just non-fatal explosive bullets they still hurt as hell though which is shown in the games why you can't get hit too much by these
Hello, I watched this video. The sound effects included the ones used in the Touhou original, so I enjoyed it even more! I'm sorry, but I felt that the spell card name was different, so I will post what I thought. Spell Card: Magic Sigh "Milky Way" → First normal Danmaku(Marisa) Spell Card: Scattered Sprite "Fantsy Seal -Worn-" → First nomal Danmaku(Reimu) Spell Card: "Blazing Star" → Comet "Blazing Star" Spell Card: "Fantasy Heaven" → Remembrance "Dream Seal -Wabi" Since I am Japanese, I use Google Translate and include my own interpretation, so some translations may have suspicious English or meaning. Forgive me ...
Hi 杉焼定食, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I tried hard to incorporate as many original sounds as possible to keep it close to the original Touhou. I'm really happy that you noticed.
I am commenting using Google Translate. Sorry for commenting again. I was just wondering, do you think Touhou Project can be proud to the world? I think I'm proud
