The best thing about this game is how most of the characters have badass descriptions (like The Youkai of Darkness, The Girl of Knowledgde and Sunshade, The Devil's Sister, etc.) but Meiling's description is just Chinese girl.
well that's.. just lazy translation. her second name is actually 華人小娘 in most of the series. I would translate it as "Little Lady from Chinese land". still, I prefer her other second name, 色鮮やかに虹色な門番(Gate Keeper of Vivid Rainbow Color) from the book.
I feel like Rumia is such an overlooked character. EoSD is a revolutionary game in the touhou series, as it was the first to feature the spellcard system. Rumia, being the first stage boss, is therefore such a vital character to the touhou project: She's the first person you encounter with spellcards! SHE HAS THE FIRST SPELLCARDS EVER! GET IT INTO YOUR HEADS!
@Hey. Ray. Then I'm 99% sure you haven't played them enough. It's not like other bosses where the cards are still fairly similar in difficulty, Killing Doll is legitimately insane compared to all those spells you mentioned, which for stage 5 are kinda exceptionally easy. Anyone who has played EoSD lunatic a lot will tell you something similar.
"Huh, Touhou sounds pretty interesting, the music's really good, I guess I'll see what it's all about..." "Okay, it's not that hard-" _OH_ *_OH GOD_* *_WHAT IS THIS DEMONRY_* *_ZUN WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS_*
Elijah Bartl She can stop time though and just look behind her in a sec (I know it's not gonna work due to the Game's logic and plot armour put into it)
An all-time danmaku classic! So brutal, yet so charming in every way! It really is the one that kickstarted the series. The soundtrack will never get old. I should figure out how to install this game again, it's such a pain on Windows 10 Lunatic NMNB 1cc when
10:51 My least favorite part of the game. Grimoires will fill the screen with bullets so you'll have to focus on dodging them all closely then Koakuma will suddenly ambush you. The "ambush" wasn't shown here in this vid since the player died causing some bullets to be cleared off the screen before Koakuma appeared
+InsanityTheorem Me, I just have a very good natural sense for hitboxes, and its come in handy in less insane places then Touhou, while I suck at Touhou, its generally cause I am very calm, so I never Bomb when I rightly should have, but also cause I just plain suck
i just tried lunatic for the 1st time after beating it on normal with no continues... yeah i got to her last bar and died lol. here comes another few months of practice i guess. I just want to beat it even if i have to continue. xD
As an easy mode player, just from a glance at Sakuya, she genuinly doesn't look too bad, although I could be wrong. If I ever get EoSD, I'll try out Lunatic and see how I do.
The first one : its easy Cirno: HOW THE HELL I'm gonna dodge the icicle fall the third girl :......lot's of rainbow , weeeee i'm dead patchy : books will kill you, not her but the books izayoi : Stops and you die Izayoi(second part) : how the hell i was able to dodge it!!!! Remilia: her attacks is brighter than my future
I do believe you already know these, but just in case... The first stage boss is called Rumia. Cirno is pronounced as [chiru-no] in Japanese, and most western fans pronounce it in a similar way. The thrid stage boss is called Hong Meiling. The 4th stage boss is called Patchouli Knowledge. The fifth stage boss is Izayoi Sakuya, Izayoi being the last name. Not sure how the first reply came up with Keaton.
meanwhile, here i am, struggleing to beat stage 1 ;-; lemme be real, i cannot belive a human being has the capacity to do this, touhou is a game that requires that you have balls of steel and god-like coordination and reflexs, that considering you didnt even used bombs was mind-blowing
You are a bullet hell master and the dogder of (bullet) rain. Good job! =D The bullets are really heptic to dogde during bosses without the aid of bombs. By the way, if you go fight Flandre, will you have the same number of lives and bombs as you have when you finished the game with?
(Was that a question or a comment...?) If you don't clear Normal Mode without Continues, you are not able to unlock Extra Stage. So yes, you don't get to fight Flandre.
One reason I'm so bad at Touhou 6 is that the spell cards are a lot more random, they aren't too coordinated, so I can't do a pattern or anything, I just have to dodge everything.
Is it just me, or Patchouli's Agni Shine High Level in Lunatic is like way easier than the Normal version Agni Shine - well I can capture both - but I fail the normal one more; probably because its "third layer" that moves like sometimes acts like a landmine and both confuse me and limit my movement? Well of course Lunatic is harder than Normal overall though... I 1cc Normal using Reimu A 80% of the time (with bombs... the fewest being 24) and haven't even unlocked Lunatic's stage 5 practice...
Holy shit. The lack of hit boxes in this game makes even easy mode a struggle for me. How in the hell did this guy manage to do lunatic mode w i t h o u t b o m b s??? What an absolute madlad. I’d love to see how many hours he put into this game
@@supreme_xenon bruh. Bruh I KNOW it was practice. I was marveling at his dedication to beating the game at such a high difficulty. There’s no need for you to be a smart-ass.
@@supreme_xenon it’s called a “rhetorical question”, hon. I don’t need to have the answer explained, nor was I looking *for* an answer. It was simply a question asked to highlight how impressed I am with the gamer. As you can see by my last sentence, “I’d love to see how many hours he put into the game,” I obviously know he spent an enormous amount of time of it. It wasn’t ignorance, just a touhou fan envying a person for having the time to put *that* much practice into a game. Now do I need to continue defending my old comment from last-fucking-year? Or can I go take a shit without being pissed at someone for trying to explain something I already know?
