Flandre goes to show that if something is popular to the point of being possibly overrated, that doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. Flandre and her theme are still great additions to the franchise, and I won't cloud my view based on popularity rankings.

If i would have to choose a theme song for Flandre in the fan- fiction book im currently writing, this would win easly- starting with a feeling of danger, with that speedy start, then goes to a very chaotic and crazy part, then proceeds to the main part, and then a part that sounds sad, very sad even. Flandre in my fan- fiction is just like that- firstly, she killed to protect herself. Then, she didn't realize what death really is, and killed for her fun. She went crazy by that time. But as the time passed, she realized what death is, and realized she was wrong. She started helping people, instead of killing them. But then, a war broke in gensokyo, and she had to kill again, this time, for the sake of her sister, who made Flandre into her armies commander. I JUST LOVE THIS SONG! CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT!
Sounds like a good personality for Flan, similar to mine where her psycho attitude is just a corrupted form of depression. Edit: she believes herself to be a monster, and only love heals that mentality
