alice if she unleashed her full grimoire in modern era touhou i love how at 1:06, it sounds exactly like the original, almost like a moment of "clarity", before it goes into doll judgment. also, that doll judgment part really tripped me up (/pos). i was like "huh? oh SHIT ITS-"

Managed to locate what I'm pretty sure is the exact or near-exact instruments used for a lot of that bit. It's near identical which gave me a little room to play around with it and then oops I made doll judgement

One of my favourite extra boss themes in the entire series. Alice's themes are so awesome that they are a big reason she became one of my favourite characters, ha ha.

I really liked the inclusion of her Windows theme in this arrange. I'd absolutely love to hear something in a similar style with Yuuka, Reimu, or Marisa. Grimore is just in general my favorite Touhou theme though~

I like how you used kinda same FAT bass drums, which, IMHO, is the best part of this theme. Sacrificing one of the FM channels for additional kick was a perfect decision :) Honestly, this goes HARD

the original does the same thing, but it also doesn't use FM6 so I did have another channel to play with

@@Mugenri Oh yeah, 6th channel is reserved for in-game SFX and such Any free channel isn't "free" here, it's just important x)

How did I miss this for so long!! This piece really gives me feelings of nostalgia like no other, and this remix intensifies it even more. Touhou PC-98 era has always given me a great feeling in my heart...

you know it's funny how for the other three characters the design changes between PC98 and Windows aren't that big. Reimu gets a less proper outfit and her hair gets unpurple'd, Marisa's outfit is black/white instead of purple and kinda frilly, Yuuka gets short hair and her outfit is slightly different, most notably she lacks the umbrella and then there's Alice, who looks like she got hit by a puberty truck between Mystic Square and PCB.
