Plot synopsis:
One morning, water seems to start rising by the lakes of Gensokyo. No one pays attention to this, as they believe that the water rose due to recent rainfall and would go back to normal. As time passes, the water suddenly engulfs most of the land, leaving humans and youkai stranded.
The Hakurei Shrine had been flooded over somewhat as well, leaving the Hakurei shrine maiden without a place to stay. The same fate had come upon the residents of the Moriya Shrine and the ordinary magician Marisa Kirisame’s house.
The rising water also seemed to be a mix between freshwater and saltwater, both having some sort of magical property, with fish populations rising and aquatic creatures being more aggressive than usual. Join our heroines in their quest to find the root of these floods in this underwater adventure!
