I have a question: If one takes the Hot Springs Canyon Trail, and not the White Rock Trail, can one get to the hot springs and the camping area without going up or down the ladder? At different places I see that the ladder is gone, but then I see at other places the ladder has been put back. If I backpack in I do not necessary look forward to using a ladder to get to either the spring or the camping area next to the river.
