I think the entire Redbull team was not prepared. Only Primoz was on form. At his Age he is still flying and putting up the best numbers. They should get someone like E.Mas to be a domestique for Primoz, and should have picked up Campanearts

with Red Bull the goals and expectations are naturally even higher now, so they will have to improve on all fronts and will need a backup guy for the GC, like the other big teams - also it didn't really seem as if Primoz was able to fight for more than 3rd place before his crashes! rolf is very emotional, but this sport is all about winning now (with red bull)

Bora RedBull debut has been a disaster at this TDF. They need to shape up and come back strong. Otherwise they will look like Ineos, big budget team and goose egg results. Their team even if Primoz were here isn't as good as the UAE or even a weak version of VL. Just look at Jai, he wasn't good enough to climb with his breakaway compatriot. If he is in the yellow jersey group, he is already been dropped long before he would be even useful for Primoz. Bora Redbull needs to go back to drawing board, if they want to throwing the hat on the ring for yellow jersey race next year.

No, Primoz is not to old, but he has not the mental power to continue the race after a crash. Other athletes stands up and continue to race, Primoz doesn’t. He is a real champion, but not good enough for the tour victory any more.

I don't think the sport has a place for any former convicted dopers. It must also be said that such former doped riders, all look much older than their ages. Aldag is a prime example.

what a failure for Bora in this year's race. nothing to show for. they should have brought more climbers/pancheurs like martinez, higuita, and z germans (well some of them were injured). is he doing vuelta? but most importantly what is wrong with primoz that 5th year in a row (last year he did not do it) he is not finishing the biggest race of the calendar and choses the "F it I will do the Vuelta" card? does he have problem with awareness and general peloton ridership? very exciting rider but bugs me that he was not around. The train of him being able to outsprint Tadej let alone on big climb had left the station and he will likely never win yellow. Shame.
