Hi! There are a lot of fondue options around the Switzerland part of the trek. We had ours at the top of the hill on day 7: La fouly to Champex. You will see a restaurant where you can fill up or sit down. It was cold when we were up there. The lake is the mirror lake - quite famous on the trail and there are lots of people. It was day 10 for us on the way to la Flegere. My advice is to have a packed lunch and try to find a spot away from the trail close to the lake to avoid the people. Love! Especially the labels with places you stayed etc… But…. Where was the fondue lunch? What is the lake before Les Flegeries? Things like that. We hike the TMB late June this summer, 2024. Would love to know those two things for sure!
