also, i don’t want to make a big deal out of this because it’s not. i just wanted to give you a little insight on how different the cultures are in europe and that you shouldn’t forget that this is a little continent, yea, but it is a continent and it has suchhhh a variety of language and culture, and not only every country has its own culture differences but you can also find a lot of cultural and language differences inside each country which i find very interesting. if you go to germany or italy (i can only speak about those since i’ve lived/am living in those) for example, up in the north you will hear a different accent in the language than in the south. in both germany and italy, the dialects get more and stronger the more you go to the south.

Tbh I thought so at first but actually I think it’s just due to her education. In all honesty she just has a more limited vocabulary and probably didn’t have time to read and expand it as much as others due to dance.

I’ve grown up in Europe and North America (multiple countries in both continents) and if she’s raised by two European parents from two different countries (her mom is danish, dad German) then… she is going to have been raised in a European way.. it’s really not that deep. You guys love to gatekeeper a continent just because you don’t like Americans haha. My experiences were different in every country but there are a lot of North American things and European things about me because my parents and because I was raised in both continents. There are collective traits in all regions wether it be an entire continent, country, province or even just a town. You are staying the obvious but also missing the point. If you aren’t a third culture kid then you couldn’t understand.

@@Yeaokyeaokyeaokyea your comment kind of sounds like a projection for your own upbringing. Luna has a limited vocabulary due hybrid education, she can’t articulate what is familiar to her about European culture, namely Dane or German. Also ethnically European parents typically imprint their CULTURE on their child, not continental sentiments. I am a child of European parents and while we do have cultural norms from my parents countries, we are American. I wish girls in America would just embrace it, versus trying to push this Eurocentric narrative that they are anything more dynamic than what we see on the screen. This is all beside the point for someone who adamantly defends her brother, who was under investigation for assault.
