The sun is finally shining here, and in this week’s video, join me as I tour the cottage garden and allotment towards the end of June 2024. Lots has changed and grown this month and I talk about the areas that are working well and the areas that still need developing.

The garden looks stunning overall. Shame that you lost a rose but the others are beautiful. Thank you for sharing the reality areas as we all have those. 😀 Love the water lilies, which will look so good when all open. Good that the Fuchsia made it too. This will also look stunning in a few weeks. You have a good variety of fruit/vegetables coming and your herbs are doing well. It is so nice to eat home grown isn't it. Thank you for showing us your garden progress for this month. ❤

Yes! So much going on and so much still to come 😃 I don’t even mind when things don’t make it as it’s a chance to try something new. The garden is really becoming my own this year 😍🪴 can’t wait to see the water lilies either! I will share those next month 😃🌸

Hi Sharon I am glad you enjoyed the tour. Yes, with all of the water, so come the weeds too! I wish everything grew as happily as they do 😂 The roses are just magical, aren’t they. Looking forward to finding a new one to add to the collection for next year too. Have a lovely Sunday 😊🪴💚

Absolutely wonderful Sarah - the garden is so gorgeous. Love the vegetable garden, with so many crops and fruit. The Strawberries look delicious! And how cool to be able to see the Spitfire most days when you're in the garden. Love this one.

We really are so lucky with our garden and the location to the airfield too is a definite bonus for the boys! ✈️ Very special spitfire to us that one 😊 I can confirm, the strawberries are very delicious 😃

,well done Sarah it`s looking really great roses look fab, my dahlias have taken a beating by the slugs so I am thinking of going over to chrysanthemums, my tubs and hanging baskets are look good, but ever one has been hav, ing slug problems, Your Veg garden looking great as well, I have suffered with my peas and carrots.too wet🤔great vid again.

Hi Graham So sorry to hear about your slug problems. Soooo many about at the moment. I have suffered a few attacks too, but I think the one benefit of having such a wild, dishevelled garden is that there is so much more for them to eat besides my plants and veggies 😂😂 I just love our roses so much and am looking forward to planting a new one where my old one was for next year (once I am sure it is free from pests/disease in the soil). Everything being so much wetter has definitely had an impact, hasn’t it? Hope you manage to get some lovely flowers and harvests as things warm up 😊🪴💚
