Your garden is beautiful! I have the same sparkly lights in my front yard flower garden and we are building a small garden in the backyard and I will add slights once the structure is built! I also have a RU-vid channel and we do lots of gardening! It’s my favorite thing to do! Flowers make me happy! I’m in zone 7b in virginia close to North Carolina so likely a similar growing zone as yours! My grandkids also help me in the garden and love it!

Oh wow, I throughly enjoyed your garden tour! 💐 🌿 💐 Your many colorful varieties of flowers amaze me. The special touches - your lights, garden gate, iron ornaments make it such an interesting atmosphere to your gardens. Your grand-daughters bedding zinnias caught my eye also. I love that they are shorter & resistant to powdery mildew too! Which variety are they? There's no doubt your flower farm is pollinator certified, love seeing your bees & butterflies! 🦋 🐝 🦋 🐝

@@PootsieBear-si7xr Hi there! Thanks so much for watching. We do have deer here but I’ve never had one in the enclosed garden. I use Liquid Fence on other plants, shrubs and trees that they seem to like. That has worked well for me for years!

Your garden is just beautiful! I enjoy all of your videos so much. I wandered if you ever share any of your seeds? I was so interested in your tribola rubekia. It’s just lovely. I’m a home gardener in the Upstate of SC.

@@reneedwards4885 Hi, thanks for watching! Unfortunately, I don’t share seeds but I can certainly point you in the right direction as to where to purchase them. @@GardeningOnTaylorMountainplease let me say that I apologize for asking about your seed . I always have an over abundance of my seed which I love to share with other flower lovers. It’s part of my southern way to be generous. I usually quickly express myself before I think about how others feel.

@@reneedwards4885 No need to apologize at all my friend! Since I am somewhat in the public eye, it would be hard for me to start sharing seeds. I definitely try to let generosity rule the day and if we were neighbors, you’d be welcome to come over to collect all the seeds you’d like!

Everything is beautiful, thank you for sharing with us! Do you direct sow the gomphrena and strawflower or begin them earlier indoors or winter sow? Thank you!
@GardeningOnTaylorMountain
@GardeningOnTaylorMountain 29 дней назад
@@careygreene6730 Hi, thanks for watching! I start the strawflowers indoors around mid February and grow them on under grow lights until planting time. I do the same with Gomphrena except I start those in mid March. You could probably sow Strawflowers in winter jugs because they are a cool flower. The Gomphrena is frost tender so they probably would not germinate in winter jugs.

How do you get your bachelor's button flowers to bush out My is just a tall skinny plant im not impressed with it
@GardeningOnTaylorMountain
@GardeningOnTaylorMountain Месяц назад
@@user-tv3tq9uu6z HI! Bachelor’s Button is winter hardy in zone 6 and warmer so I direct sow the seed in the Fall about 8 weeks before my first frost. I sow them again in very early Spring to have more of them if I need them that year. They definitely like to grow on and get established when it is cooler and even though some seed packets say you can start them in cell packs, they seem to prefer being direct sowed. Hope this helps!
