No one has commented on how wonderfully articulate Carolyn is, and you are too. It makes watching both of your channels encouraging and uplifting. Well done!
Great video! I just bought a 2011 Ford Transit van and am converting into camper. I will be retiring this year and hitting the road. As a single woman, I especially appreciated Carolyn's advice about being safe and trusting your gut! Thank you !!
This little lady has a lot of spunk and some good tips and advice for such a short time RV'er! Thank you once again for another inspirational video! 🚐💨
@@stringbender57 just hoping she doesn't become complacent and remains safe, because murderes can be everywhere. There also seemed to be a desire to proclaim she wasn't homeless, as she may look bad...each have an important place at the table to discuss van life. Hope that clears it up😊
Carolyn it is not living a lie as you suggested in this video...It is living the way we chose to live...I have worked for 43 years and enjoyed most of the jobs I have done....Now at 62 I am finished working along with my wife....We have successfully took care of our children and we regret nothing that we have done in the past....We have just worked hard and now we will enjoy our labor....I think you are wrong by saying that we and others have been living a lie....That's just not true...Be safe and God Bless....
I watch Carolyn's channel alot great info and for a single woman she gives alot of great info but with you two together what a treat thanks to both of you for making that dream closer.
Enjoyed this very much! Carolyn, you are one of those people who "never met a stranger" LOL. Probably because of your childhood. Love your solution to escape the rat race. Many more of us would do it if we could move past the fear. I always look forward to your videos. And Bob is such a cool friend.
Carolyn is a woman I can see hanging with around a campfire sharing beers with. I rarely meet someone who reminds me of myself. I hope to meet her someday and love her channel.
I loved seeing this, don’t know how I missed it! I watch Carolyn faithfully, love her video’s, the time and effort she puts into her shares is just amazing!
I love what you and Carolyn are doing with your videos. You are showing us all how to package and market our channels. I learn something new from each of your videos. Thanks guys!!!!
John, Carolyn is a true expert because she has been a specialist on marketing social media for years. I just seem to have an instinct for it but have learned so much from her!
Bob! Thanx for another inspiring & helpful interview/ tour with this remarkable woman, Carolyn. What a blessing to hear from a super-sharp, sweet, focused woman--Carolyn!
Carolyn, thanks for your honest sharing. I have been down a similar path. The more time I spend in nature it seems like the less drinking I need. You are so articulate.
HI, Carolyn! I appreciate your attitude and your talking about how personal this is. Once in recovery, I gave up completely on the word and concept of "normal." "Healthy" is a better goal, and you embody that difference.
I enjoy Carolyn's channel. I really don't want to rush time, but I'm hoping my 5 year time line goes by fast. The solo women vids are truly encouraging and empowering. Thanks, Bob & Carolyn!
Hi Bob, you do excellent videos with loads of info. I am one of Carolyn's followers also. Between the two of you, I feel like I am watching my dream life happen. Keep up the great work. Big hugs from Australia
I have watched all her videos and have followed her journey and her ups and downs. She is very real and very informative. Hope one day our paths my cross. Great interview.
Carolyn a small revolver is very comforting to have in the middle of the night. Chuck the bat you don't have any room to swing it in an RV. Stay safe and thanks for making great videos.
Thank you Bob and Carolyn. You are helping me along my decision making path. I like the idea of doing this but want a smaller rig, I think. It helps to see how other people do what they do. Good interview, good video.
Some really great advice from an inspiring woman. I like how shes down to earth and very real and genuine making her practical and also a 'friendly',lol. Great video was a pleasure as usual peace.
Been watching her progress. She has done WELL! My hopes lie in you both find a way to be alone...and find time to be alone...and when it suits the situation...together!
OK guys... Let's be honest here.... These two have chemistry together.. Carolyn seems like a cool chick. Bob almost slipped up at during the video intro. He was going to say he's come to love her. But he caught himself, and smoothly played it off. Both Bob and Carolyn seem like awesome people. They both have great channels and entertaining vids! -Mark
I ran across this young woman a few days ago. I've briefly talked to her a few times via comments but not one on one as yet. She's impressed me so much that I've decided to do the right thing. A very special person that I hope to get to tease in person some day :) I've watched you for awhile Bob. But her, I hate to say her laugh has got you beat hands down. LOL (joke) All of you guys are awesome. You make me feel at home. Thank you for letting me find my real family. I thought I was alone all of this time. Respect, Ken
Great video chock full of valuable info. Thanks Bob for interviewing Carolyn. I admire her and how she's managing her journey on the planet. Keep on keeping on!
Very interesting and sensible lady ...loved her story and admire her positive attitude to her life in her lovely home on wheels...thanks for sharing Bob 😊xx
my girl !! Carolyn you are living my dream girl ! I want out so badly I have never been what society calls normal. I have been studying off grid, I have been putting in the time of preparing myself. I do not want the house anymore or the junk that comes with it I just want out. I hope to visit with you guys out on the road I will be out there in my 29 feet of life too !!
Wow ...I think I can, I think I can. Thanks Carolyn for being an inspiration. I am 62 and retired and would love to get out of this apartment. I hope I can afford it. Blessings to you and keep doing. And Bob, I love all your videos. Get job in Mexico too.
Lady Jay buy an older RV without computer electronics 1985 or before, class b or c's, plenty out there, have mechanic check it out ($75) age means nothing, maintenance is everything, buy from old guys they take care of their stuff; now your rent and utilities become disposable income and you double your retirement check good luck
When I was young i traveled to S.A. and Galápagos. I had an upbeat and positive outlook bit I knew that there was a remote possibility that something could go wrong. Being an introvert i found it hard to strike up a conversation. What worked for me was to sit close to elderly people especially couples and start a conversation (sort of😕). It never failed. I found company, more secure and got meet some really swell people.
good video. I am getting ready to look at an rv in 6 days. I will try to remember to wait till I have given it a good once over and am happy with it mechanically before I let the excitement take over. thanks bob and carolyn.
Yet again, another fine video here, Bob. I did want to mention a safety item to Carolyn mostly because I just finished some research on the topic. One item I will have handy for reasons important to me is the Kimber Pepper Blaster 2. I like that it's made by the firearms manufacturer-Kimber-but mostly because it keeps you way out of arm's reach which your current options do not. Also, the test videos of this product showed how effective it is compared to its spray competitors and it's 'multi-round.' Ok, I'll get off that subject before sounding like a shill. I'll close by wishing you happy trails for all the days you get to enjoy that wonderful lifestyle. Best wishes to you.
If you are looking at used vehicles, drive a newer, higher priced one than you plan to buy, but do that, so that you know what one in good condition drives and sounds like. THEN look in your target price range and decide from that place of first hand experience which one you are going to buy.
great advice Bob. this was a great video. I follow her now too and I love the places she goes and the compassion she has for it. keep up the good work and if you ever get to Pennsylvania look me up. be safe and have fun.
