Thank you for this amazing comment, we really appreciate it 😀 We felt safe putting our luggage there, yes, but it is individual preference. If you want a bit more security, we put TSA Approved Luggage lock on our suitcases when we travel. These can easily be purchased on Amazon or at Target or Walmart. Hi Hannah 👋 Thank you for leaving us this awesome comment, we appreciate it. And this is a great question. If you purchase Coach Seats, seating is first come, first serve which is why everybody makes a mad dash for the escalators when the train track number is called over the loud speakers 😅 We never had an issue finding seating, but if you do, the Quiet Car is a great place to find a little space typically. Hope this helps and that you have a great first trip on Amtrak 🚊

Hi Selena 👋 This is a great question. We are not sure what the reservation number underneath the QR code is for per se, but we took screen shots of the QR code and had it ready when the conductor came around to scan it which seemed sufficient each time we rode the train. As for the lines we took, coach was not assigned and the fullness of the train depended on where you got on. If we were at either end of the line, seats were really easy to come by. With that said, if we boarded in NYC or Philly, there were tons of people boarding at the same time. When that happened, we had pretty good luck finding a seat together in the Quiet car which is usually located at one end of the train. We hope this information helps. We really enjoyed using Amtrak as our main source of transportation when we were back in the US 😊

Thanks Yarentzi, we are glad the video was helpful. In our experience, it just meant we had to bring our suitcase on ourselves. Some trains have luggage self-storage and others we just had to keep it with us. Hope that helps 🙌

Hi Julio 👋 We definitely recommend traveling by train, it is an amazing experience and the Amtrak trains are very comfortable for long, or short, train rides. Our only recommendation is to take it all in. Bring some good snacks, a book, and try to get a window seat because the best part is looking at the beautiful views along the way 🛤 If you have any other questions, let us know. @@jcalex1229 Sorry we missed this Julio. We haven't tried the roomette's, but have heard good things. Coach is very comfortable and we have done an 8 hour train ride in coach seats. I think the longer the train ride, the more value there is in getting the most comfortable option available to you. Hope this helps.

This is a great point. It is all preference, but in our opinion, you can't go wrong on Amtrak. It is a great way to travel.
