In this video, Sinead and Tom the Taxi Driver, take you on a whirlwind tour of Beatles Sights in London. Check out Tom the Taxi Driver's channel • Beatles Tour Guide TES... ..
We start our tour in St. John’s Wood where we will pay a short visit Paul McCartney’s home before walking across Abbey Road to Abbey Road Studios. We next head to Marylebone to visit sights made famous in the opening scene of a Hard Day’s Night before stopping at a registry office that has witnessed 3 Beatles weddings.
After that, we visit the sight I’m most excited about, a house where Ringo Starr, Chas Chandler, Jimi Hendrix, + John and Yoko all lived at one time or another and where the famous drug bust took place, all before heading to Mayfair to see the only house where all 4 Beatles lived together simultaneously.
And finally, we head to Saville Row, where the Beatles played their final gig together before ending our tour where the term Beatlemania was coined, the London Palladium.

John Lennon was assassinated on December 8, 1980, not 1981. I'll never forget. I will see Sir Paul McCartney perform in Spokane, Washington in 13 days. It's a 1/4 dream come true! Thanks. This is your best tour yet!

My friend and I did the Beatles black cab tour in Liverpool. My friend really wanted to do it and I was along for the ride. But, our guide was amazing and told so many emotional stories about their early lives that she had me crying! We did a different black cab tour in London but not about the Beatles. They are wonderful guides and I highly recommend people take the black cab tours if possible.

I visited Saville Row in 2014. A woman at the door invited me in and offered to let me sit in the lobby and read through the Beatle books on the table, but I already had all of them! Beautiful room with fireplace not seen during Let It Be because they had room dividers set up.

My hat is most definitely off to Tom and all of the London cab drivers. They do amazing work. Even after 50+ years, one of my life's mysteries persists; why in the world would anyone complain about a spontaneous, live, open air, free Beatles concert? As long as I live I will probably never get it. And how is it no one is waiting in front of the McCartney home to smile at him?😄 Perhaps they aren't in town. It's undoubtedly very cool for him nowadays, not having hoards of screamers camped outside their door.😄 Such an exciting tour, y'all, thanks again!

Just an extra detail: Cilla Black was, a tv host later in her life but for years, she had a very successful career as a singer. One example, ‘ Alfie’, from the Michael Caine excellent film ‘ Alfie’. She aso had a tv series as a singer. Cilla was a Liverpudlian and she knew the Beatles very well. I really enjoyed the video ! Interesting to see where Sgt Norman Pilcher ‘ found’ some drugs. He was immortalised later in the ‘ I am the walrus’ song as ‘ Semolina Pilchard’. 😆 John was excellent at the Lewis Carroll habit of changing words to ‘ nonsense’ words. I still have two of John’s short books of cartoons and writing.

Realistic too in making videos that can help people who want to see the same places when their time, or budget or ability to walk miles might be limited. Fun and interesting …but practical, is much better than some other channels I’ve seen in which legging it up every street on the map in an area, for miles, before seeing anything interesting seems ok for a hiking trip but not, for sightseeing. 🙂👍🏻

Well Snead this was a wonderful ride to Beatles sites and as a huge Beatles fan who has been to all and more of those sites it was great to look back and you did a great job explaining things especially the Marylebone Station info of which I did not know exactly where those telephone booths where. Also had the greatest luck at Paul's home when the housekeeper opened the gates and I filmed the entryway and got to talk to her - great time and memories there. Thanks for a wonderful tour and reminiscence .

I found out so much more about the Beatles than I ever knew before. My aunt's and I are coming to London for Christmas next year and I can't wait to see some of the places that I've watched you do tours on. Hi Sinead! Wow, another SUPER exciting tour! A 72 year old friend of mine has a very small stone she "collected" from some garden dirt at the site of the McCartney's Liverpool home many years ago on display in a special place in her living room (or lounge😉) in San Pablo, California.😊 I would sure be cheesed off if people chipped away at my lovely front steps and beautiful entryway door, though.😄 Thank you, gorgeous!!

when i was a child i went to see a hard days night at the theatre in melbourne (australia). i believe the old guy on the seat next to paul with the newspapers is the older actor from steptoe and son who was also very famous at the time

(I did not know he was discovered busking in front of the Hilton, but I adore him and will be seeing him in concert in a mere five weeks!) @@FreeToursbyFootLondon I was very young at the time, but I recall seeing the devastated fans descending upon the Dakota (John and Yoko's building/the crime scene) and what would later become Strawberry Fields on the local news. I knew something huge had happened but wasn't old enough to fully appreciate the significance of it the way I do now.
