Touring Manchester Christmas markets with my sister and husband, looking for the most delicious bratwursts and the coldest Weiss beer. The only downside was how crowded the markets were, but the coolest highlight was definitely the snow, since that's not something we get very often in the UK. It was pretty magic to walk around the nicely decorated streets of Manchester in the snow and exploring the markets while the snow was falling. It definitely made for a "warm" welcome to the city we now call home. Moving to a new city right before Christmas certainly has its perks, since the excitement of the holidays make even a foreign place an exciting one.
