I also collect coins but don't like the obsession of collecting perfect or uncirculated or MS graded coins .. being an ancient coin collector it's not important whether a coin is shiny or not , it is supposed to be old and dull... One more thing is that every used coin has a story of itself which tells me to admire it more than shiny ones ...
@@indiannumismatist1042 WoW, didn't expect this types of answer, Now i can make out the Passion of your Numismatic World, you know what i mean is that all this Collection's are bought till to this date from Day One from your Family Bank Account and not that of you too started to sell get profit and buy out from what you yourself made. And not forgetting, how very Possessive you were of your Coins that when the interviewer holding a Coin but your hand is already trying to get it back even before 3 Second have lapsed as if that very Coin will break into Pieces or will be ruined with scratches and all. WoW! Note:- Today is the 1st time that i have came across your Channel as am very deep into those Authentic Indian Numismatic RU-vid Channels. Let's see how your other Vids are....
I do collect coins, the only thing I do not buy coins from RBI or proof set. I am not sure we should spend so much amount or not. But everyone is have their own way and that’s the beauty of collection. You can have year wise set, mint wise set, continent collection, country, before independence after independence etc. it’s amazing. But guys one thing note down… I believe in next 20-25 years era of coins will be gone. I really feel so in digital world. And that’s the time when value of any collection any method will increase in multiple
Anchor must be professional. Blah...Blah...She should allow the collector to speak. Mint set will cost us lot. Most of them are low mintage and minted for commercial purpose only. Better young collector can start collecting from standard circulating to commemorative coins. Silver and Non-circulating will the last. Rightly said that collection is all about patience. Unless very rare, avoid collecting dirty or damage coins. Most of online sellers buying scrap coins and sell at high price. Always check your collection with World coins catalog or online Price guide. Numista website have all details and 90% of their coin value meets Indian market value. There are many facebook sellers sell at cheap price. A collector will go through 3 stages. First stage : Buy blindly Second stage : Try to Learn about the value of coin Third stage : Try to be smart professional collector Half of the collectors stop at first stage itself, there could be many reasons. But money will play big part and they try to resell the coins. Buying is very easy but hard to sell. Many enter second stage and have dream about collecting coin by types.[KM no] Unless you sell your useless coin to the first stage collector, very hard to move to next stage Very few with much resources can go to third stage; mostly very rich peoples, high professional retired Govt employees, Doctors or IT guys. That's the reason Non-Circulating mint coins are minting in low quality. Its all passion. I started to collect at age of 13, now 42 still going with collection. Many time try to stop, but it become addiction and love about that...few years back I used to count the coins and now stopped counting...I don't know my numbers and sure it crossed 10,000 coins. It may take few weeks to locate a particular coin. Crazy Hobby

I learn one thing is to have patience from this video. Because I did the same like I bought one coin in 1300 rupees in 2017 which is 800 to 850 rupees now. So the person fooled me very nicely.
A very good start ! Try to collect silver 1₹ in xf grades , that are pocket friendly as well as your family will support you since they cost around silver melt value
