Welcome back to the lizard lounge! I'm incredibly excited to be back with another reptile room tour! In this video, I'll be taking you around the lizard lounge and showing you the many animals and plants that reside in here! My reptile room is always evolving, so going forward I hope to do many more room tours, but for now enjoy this one!

With all the plants and bioactive how do you avoid fungus gnats ? I have had a big issue with them lately when it comes to plant and substrate for isopods and lay bins, I have ordered a katchy, and am waiting for warmer weather to buy some nematodes

Awwww I'm so sorry about finn passing away , question what r those strip lites for ..are they plant lites ? Thank u for that great video I have seven tanks with frogs, lizards they r so cool thanx again girl!! GOD BLESS U.....P.S. CANT WAIT TO C THE OTHER ROOMS

Most are UVB lights but some are plant lights!

I just want to know about the electrical situation in these rooms. Are you using power cords and strips? And how do you avoid a fire hazard? I don’t have near as many animals in one room and struggle with this.

Do your amphibians on the bottom left shelf require heat? The frogs scorpion and tarantulas? If so what type of heat do you use? :) also will you be selling any of you baby reptiles in the future locally? I got my skink from you and would LOVEE a cat gecko 🥰

Have you ever had fungus gnats? If yes how did you get rid of them? There are so many in my room and the enclosure, in the enclosure is an adult gargoyle gecko. Does anyone know if the sf-nematodes are safe to use while my gecko is in the terrarium?? Or any other ideas? Btw nice video

I had this problem. Best thing to do is Try and keep it dryer. Obvs this wont be long term due to the geckos needs but in the long run it is worth

Aw man, I really loved Finn. Was it just old age? I know other cham species don't live all that long compared to most reptiles.

He was only 2, so I don’t think it was old age unfortunately :( he’s had a tumour on his arm for about a year now, and it was benign when i first had it checked but it’s possible it became malignant. He started losing weight really fast and then I found him passed away. Unfortunately there’s no vets in my province that do necropsies on exotics in my province 😭

Hi Emma. How do you protect your room from natural disasters? Is your area prone to earthquakes, floods, et cetera?

We don’t get many natural disasters where I live besides hurricanes. And any time I’ve had to prepare for a hurricane I just have to make sure I have a plan to keep my reptiles warm if we lose power

So bummed about Finn. Chameleons are delicate sensative creatures. I have a panther chameleon I must constantly pamper. They might as well have been named pamper chameleons haha. But l love Khepri the chameleon we have. He's worth the worry of watching him closely, believe me l do worry & want his husbandry heavenly.
