Tour Of My 'Pet Garden'
Here is a tour of my guinea pig and rabbit accommodation. The guinea pigs shed is from Atkinsons Fencing, the rabbits playhouse is from York Timber Products and their small mesh run is from Bunny Business on Amazon. The aviary for the guinea pigs was built by my parents. I hope this video gives you some inspiration! Please remember that it has taken us a long time to get the setups to this stage, so they function well for both me and my animals. You definitely don't need setups like these to have happy pets, this is just what works with the space I have. You can also visit my website (linked below) for some inspiration.

THIS is how bunnies and piggies need to live. This or like a house cat. I cant stand seeing animals in tiny enclosures. My hamsters have huge cages ( ideally id like bigger) but they come out for 2 hours free roam EVERY day. So many people say "its just a hamster", but theres nothing "just" about it. They are my family. Im new to your channel and very impressed ♡♡♡♡

Ireland Young I own four Guinean pigs and they are Soooooo much work. She has many more pets, I also have chickens and geese. But all of them are so much work and you have to work to keep bugs away and more. I think that no one has the perfect life, imagination all of the cleaning she does, but she is doing it for something she enjoys.

I have a thing similar because our yard is huge, we have our rabbits and chinchillas outside, but we have them in a habitat very similar. Our yard is 3 acres because we have 8 dogs and 3 cats, all of them are from shelters though.

Just curious. Why do you keep your rabbits and guinea pigs separately? Is it because there are so many of each? Only because my rabbit and Guinea pig used to share a hutch and got on great but I only had one of each!

tingtangtongsmate it's best to keep them separate because bunnies can kick, especially when irritated or scared, and that can hurt a small guinea pig and cause internal bleeding. It's also not the best to be mixing feces within the same enclosure even if both are basically made up of fruits/veggies and hay since both guinea pigs and rabbits eat a certain variation of their "feces" to gain back certain nutrients.

Nice video, just a suggestion.... I'm worried about predators, and for the hamsters. I suggest a tank, it's bad for them to chew on bar cages. Nice VIdeo.

They're usually most noisy during the day :) at night they're quiet but I can't guarantee all will be like that x

Everyone in this comment section is worried about hawks or large birds. This is England so foxes would be a worry but I think she would have def thought about that before letting them live there so I guess they don’t get foxes or something?

If I could have a pet garden like you I would literally rehome every piggie ever! Sadly I can't convince my parents to buy a shed. We have the space and money. If you had any advice that would be appreciated ❤️

Simply Emma I know I'm not Arin but I have some advise for you. 1 do some extra work around the house without being asked that includes your chores. 2 Be respectful and dont bug them about it all the time if they say no wait a few months. 3 Ask them for a family meeting and talk to them about it. 4 Do alot alot alot of research and write it down so they can see everything you've done. 5 Tell them why you want to do this and why you want Piggies. And that my friend is my best advice on getting this to happen. Good luck.

If your good at wood work or building you could look up a video on how to build one from palettes and other stuff just look up stuff like building a shed on a budget or something along those lines

some of these hutches/sheds are sturdy enough to withstand a mountain lion. Of course she need not worry about them but I do. You just have to do your research and get the best one for your needs. They can be kept quite warm and safe in them.

They probably wouldn't want to get out because where they are has food and toys and a nice shelter bit. There's not really any benefit to running away! I'm sure they could dig out if they wanted to but I'm assuming they get checked on multiple times a day so they'd probably get noticed before managing to escape

@sophie you can, you should probably get a stable one with a roof so animals can't get in, if you put them outside you also won't have to spend as much hay (if there's grass)

I love this, so many rabbits have to live an awful and short life locked in a hutch, so nice to see them well cared for. My rabbits 11 years old and everybody always says wow that’s old but it’s not it’s just because most only live 2-3 years because of the stress of a hutch :( I didn’t know how social rabbits were though. I feel bad mine doesn’t have a friend of his own kind. Do you think at 11 years old it’s too late to introduce another rabbit for company? It’s not like they’d be squished in a hutch, he has a big shed for night and the run of a reasonably large sized garden in the day. I’ve always been told they would fight but love seeing yours all together!

Hawks, eagles, and falcons can swoop down and take those rabbits. Assuming you live in the UK, foxes and badgers can also be a threat. Rats and mice can get into sheds or prey on small animals. If you live in the US/Canada, opossums and raccoons are also a problem. Very nice garden but seems kinda open and unprotected. Edit: I saw that you have a lot of wood and hay in your yard. That’s a breeding ground for rodents

ANIMAL LOVERS101 a 2x3 c&c cage is WAY to small for 2 guinea pigs the minimum for 2 guinea pigs is 2x4 and males may need more space . I can't believe that you have such a small cage for TWO!

Love your fur babies, but, i'm concerned that your fence is to short that cats could jump that. Don't get me wrong I love all animals especially cats. I would worry about the shortness of the fence.

I love that you did that but maybe move them to your room to be free roamed but if you can’t for the bunny’s protection maybe get like a big shed because the fence they can jump out or maybe no fence and like that mosquito mess thing that goes all over there house and have a tunnel to go in and out of there shed but at night cover the tunnel so they stay in

The Guinea pigs nails are to long you need to cut them I used to own 5 of them and there nails can get really bad if you don’t
