I am getting closer...the way you so kindly go over this gives me hope..I am overwhelmed by tech stuff and I feel I can learn it when I hear your process of learning...you are wonderful to each other as well,,,so beautiful to see. I am sure a good relationship only deepens in rving especially if both people want it. I so enjoyed your tour and your space, colors and their and your use of space..beautiful beautiful 5th wheel...so great to see how you can stretch and shrink to different sizes for different situations. Love the modern colors without being too grey and i love the roman blinds..have always loved them.
Very nice! I do have a couple comments. Why do you keep your sewer connections on the passenger side and your chairs on the drivers side in the pass-through? Wouldn't it make more sense to switch them? I'm also concerned about your Starlink router being in the "wet cabinet"; leaks do happen and it wouldn't be good for the router. Why not put it behind the TV? I also chuckled at Jennifer talking about all the storage ; I'm sure after traveling in a Class B MH it feels like you've moved into a castle.
Congratulations on your new purchase. Didn’t surprise me that you went bigger. So pleased that you’re both excited about your new rig. Good luck and safe travels. Great video too. Warm regards , Nancy from UK!
Congratulations on your new rig. It will be great when entertaining your family. FYI : another RU-vid family found out the hard way that they can’t store heavy books, etc in the upper cabinets. Their cabinets started to sag and pull away from the wall☹️We try to store heavy items in low storage cabinets. Have a great summer.
Very nice rig for sure. One note about using those blocks under your landing gear. Have to be very careful that the trailer doesn’t get knocked off those, your trailer will drop on your truck box, speaking from experience. We have had two fifth wheels and enjoyed both. The convenience of dropping the trailer and having your vehicle available, the towing, space to move around. Hardly knew it was there towing with our Ford 7.3 diesel.
32 feet is a really nice size. The layout was very nice. This has so much storage that you could live in year-round. My only one concern is all those windows because of the drafts that come in during the winter.
Great home away from home. It is so well thought out. Ample space and efficient modern appliances/ features inside and out. Congrats on the Arcadia and safe travels.
very nice look at a very nice RV by some very nice folks. It certainly appears you are very happy with your choice of a towable, and I can see why. We have a Keystone towable as well, Cougar 26RBS and are extremely happy with it. We switched to this unit late August 21, and already have over 5000 miles on it, and that includes it being in Canadian winter storage from Nov 1st through to May 1st this year. As always safe and happy travels.
Great walk-through! I have the same unit myself, spent the first few weeks just getting it how I want it and we'll take our maiden voyage this weekend. It checked a lot of boxes for us as a step-up from a travel trailer, and the storage is crazy. I have no idea what to put in all the available space! Congrats on your purchase- I'm completely happy with mine.
Love you two + Beau...thanks for 5th wheel tour looking fwd to the next tour...Jen i get excited just seeing where you keep the silverware!! Thanks for taking us along.
Hint get the black plastic king pin lube plate . The white after usage make the hitch head all white from turns. As it’s plastic and makes a mess on the top of the hitch head. Thanks
We bought a tiny 1750 RD but also have one of those windows in the back and it's also our favorite thing. Our maiden voyage was to Carlsbad State Beach park where we had the most gorgeous panoramic view of the ocean. Watching the seagulls, surfers and cargo ships was so fun. Can't wait to see how you're going to accessorize?
How great to move from your very slick van to this major palace of a 5th wheel. You must be giddy with all the extra room. It is truly an extra home... what a great way to simplify travel. I was always betwixt and between. Sometimes our high top van was the way to go... but.. at other times I missed our tow trailer... what to do? Of course you solved the problem... do both. Hey, now that l've been on this earth for a fair amount of time I figured out... why not be as comfortable as possible ....it just makes sense. I can't turn back the clock BUT I can turn up the thermastat AND help others along the way. It's all about balance. Enjoy your beautiful spaces.
Great video. My wife and I are thinking about getting an RV. Still I'm in looking/deciding mode. Three questions. First the is the entry step part of the original trailer or an add on? Second what is the length of the entire trailer truck combination when connected? Three could you show the trailer with the slides in for travel? Thanks
Beautiful RV and great use of space. We have a 30’ Wildcat Maxx 262 RGX with a garden room, solar and an 85 gallon water tank but if this was available when we found ours the choice would have been easy. Question~ We too have the large propane tanks, but they are extremely difficult for my husband to get back in when they’re full with his nagging tennis elbow. Do you know of an easy way to fill those buggers without moving them?
Thanks for the tour! We considered the Arcadia 3250RL, but the pin weight of 1655# plus the 150# weight of the hitch only left about 200# of my 2019 F-250 Lariat’s 2050 payload for us humans and dogs. What is the carrying capacity of your truck? Aren’t you overloaded?
@@michaelbrooks3395 so you know the diesel 250 has a very low payload capacity. My gas 250 has a payload of 3,400 lbs . 100 pound more than my friends diesel 350 of the same year . Those diesel engines are very heavy and take away from payload big time
Regarding your propane. You run out and have to switch it in a real bad storm at 2 AM. Me I leave both on 100% of the time and no going out in the middle of the night. The next day when it is nice out I simply check the switch over device. If red I move the lever and close the empty tank, remove it and go fill it up PDQ. in 22 years I have never run out nor had to switch it in the middle of the night in a storm. I like staying dry. Just my way.
Very nice. I was looking at the key for your outside compartments. It looks very similar (same grey and same shape) to the key that our Tiffin motorhome uses. I wonder if they both open the same locks?
Keystone is a highly regarded RV and fifth wheels tow like a dream. You didn't tell us how much you might like being able to use the tow vehicle as a ride without having to break camp. This is a big advantage over a class B or C. The size is good too versus something larger which can be intimidating going down the road. How is the rear lounge? I think I would prefer recliners even if I had to give up the second bed. As I get older I find myself sleeping in the recliner more and more because my back and shoulders get sore in the bed regardless of the mattress. My mattress is 13" memory foam and I still get sore sometimes. My dinette folds down into a bed for the grand kids when needed. Can your dinette fold down into a bed? Congratulations on a great choice and I would love to hear more about how it compares to your class B van.
So happy you made the step up. Yes the class C is ok, but not in favor of a tow car. A boat is good😊. We are looking for land close to good fishing. Fuel cost has really impacted our travel plans for this summer. 😡
Thank you for sharing your weights with us This is incredibly valuable information Would you be willing to share the maximum cargo lbs in the door jamb of your f250 please?
We still have our LTV and will get getting another when its built. The Arcadia is our base camp. Read about it here rvlifestyle.com/arcadia-fifth-wheel-2/
