Powdersville doesn't have a public community pool, but they are very common in the Powdersville neighborhoods. The local YMCA also has a pool that is open year round.

Birch River is in the Powdersville school district which are some of the best in the area. They’re the highest rated schools in their county, and the high school ranks around top 20% range for the country.
