Ayoub has worked in Souk El Had, the Sunday Market, for over 15 years so he knows the best places to go and how to get around smoothly. Souk El Had is the biggest souk in North Africa so we wanted to give you some tips from a local to be able to navigate the place and find everything you want during your trip to Morocco. We included the best places to get herbs, argan oil, honey, amlou as well as many other traditional artisanal items. Morocco does not have the best reputation when it comes to scammers or getting ripped off. This is unfortunate because there are so many generous, kind people in Morocco and specifically in Souk El Had who will give you the real Moroccan cultural experience. Make sure to watch until the end for a special tip about how to avoid scammers in the souk.
