This family of 6 full time RVs in their custom Spacecraft 5th wheel coach. Wow. Robert takes us on a tour of his 5er and shows us a truly custom 5th wheel design.
Wow that is a beast and beautiful! One thing I've noticed though with RV's is the more storage you have, the less windows you have. The less windows, the more of a cave it feels like. I guess if you spend a lot of time outside it's OK.
More windows equal more heat or cold penatration. Also the white exterior reflects heat. I just purchased a 2016 Cougar 333mks. Dark color and lots of glass. Sweltering inside above 80 degrees. You need 2 ACs running constantly to stay inside it. Thinking about selling it because of the absolute need for 50 amp service.
Beautiful and unique layout. I love the book shelves in the kitchen, since I am an avid reader and collect books. Great kitchen galley/table also. Well thought out. You must be an engineer by profession.
+Pascal Boursiquot I have met this family in their travels a few times. Their kids are absolutely amazing. Robert and Heidi are incredible parents, and their kids are very special.
I’m so curious. I doubt you will read this but there was an all white Spacecraft fifth wheel that came into Burlington Bay Campground in Two Harbors,,Mn. It was built for them. I believe they lived in it full time and I’m pretty sure they had four kids. It was several years ago. I don’t know how many. Was that you??? 😀
Damn. Very, very impressive. What I don't get, is why people pay up to $100,000 for a twenty foot long tiny home, when they could possibly get this (when used) for a similar price.
Did you not hear hi talk about all the customizations? somethings can not be done to a used RV due to either structural issue or weight restriction, or even existing system.
Unlikely. The tiny homes are also on wheels/trailers, so basically they are rv-s just much smaller, so they're not going up in value. I think you're confusing them with regular homes,
Where to go camping tho with huge campers and fifth wheelers where it’s safe woody with water and carry food ice chests with ice to keep a lot of meat frozen or cold along with dry food and the fridge filled up too connect to water and when u leave what to do with remaining water and how long will a generator last u how to fill it up it’s a lot of questions to ask
What is the kingpin to rear bumper length? How much does this weigh? We are considering something similar in the future. I am just curious if you have any more specs on it.
+Laura Olson Hello Laura. I would suggest that a quick phone call to Marsha (president of Spacecraft Manufacturing) would be the best place to start. Marsha is fantastic, and has all the options, ideas and specifications you would like to know. She can be reached at her manufacturing facility in Concordia MO Phone 888.463.7520
What vehicle do they use other then their 'heavy-duty truck' to use when their 'Spacecraft Travel Trailer Home' is parked to get around in....you know if they wish to visit museums and other visitors entrapment to visit at each of their stop for their children's education or for their entertainment?...
@@Apollo9733us Regardless of the cost it's obviously not a waste of money to this wonderful family. For them it seems to be perfect and they have exactly what they wanted to travel and enjoy their family in. I can only imagine the amazing times those kids and parents have as a family. I think it's a wonderful way to raise kids especially in their elementary and even middle school years. So if it's a waste of money for you then you spend your "million plus" on something else and let them spend their money on whatever they want
sofuggit Actually...the act or process of securing. You hear it a bit in trucking, specifically flatbedders. All those chains and straps, and the proper installation there of...securement. But it is a word, feel free to look it up.
+Gregg RVHaulers Ya gotta love at 4:30+ " We carry gobbs of nails, cuz there great entertainment for children." God bless you guys, I'm still having trouble deciding which gender bathroom to use.
Love the bookshelves and unique layout. But didn't see a couch for as large as this is. Only dining area. And you act like this is the 1st time being in the RV. Discovering everything and trying to find the words to say. Really surprised as large as this is there's no livingroom. How do you relax to watch tv. Sitting up around the dinning area?!?
A trailer that big and you have to sit at the dinette tio watch tv. No thanks. No theater seating or couch or real livingroom for that matter. Whatever works I guess but not my cup of tea.
Banner Guy: meh, I'm one of 7 & we had 4 girls in one bedroom, in a very spacious house. The *home* does NOT create the family. THE FAMILY creates the home! They are clearly blessed & me thinks you are suffering from 'sour grapes!' (Jealousy )
Yeah. Such a rough life. Growing up, touring the U.S. and probably Canada. Meeting new people and seeing more places than most Americans see in their entire lives. How do they stand it? (sarcasm)
My family lived in a Kenworth because my mom was a trucker... I am so glad I had that time on the road. I was actually sad when my mom made us lay down roots. Traveling everywhere and learning about different areas of the country was amazing! Just because that lifestyle isn't for you doesn't mean that it is in anyway wrong for others.
Yep, it must be soooo hard to have two wonderful parents who are together and who love them enough to want to be with them constantly, traveling all over and seeing all places that I have never seen. Parents that care enough to home school and give them constant adventures. Yep, such a crappy way to be forced to live. They probably need counseling already just to deal with how bad life has to be for them. Ugh, lol. So negative , and so very very wrong you are!! Oh, and just in case you aren't sure, I'm being stupidly sarcastic as well. Seems like an amazing life to me. My kids would have loved it
