The modded Otis 2000's don't have Dewhurst, those are DMG vandal resistant buttons. Those Morris Vermaport lifts are really really bad, I don't usually say that about lifts. If they made the voice announcements actually in sync with what the lift was doing then the lift would be good, but of course that's too advanced
I wonder if it was an April fools mod and the left one is closed off because they're making it an Otis 2000 again. XD I'm hoping Kone will replace them with Ecodiscs with glass doors, nice cabs, semi intelligent levelling and pre-doors eventually.
Why do they need to be ecodiscs? I would much prefer a second generic mod. Most generic mods for lifts like these are really decent. It was only the Morris Vermaport that was bad
Not true, I remember seeing some Otis 2000s modernised with Intelligent levelling. Also the otis 2000 isn't that old, so IDK what you mean by "old lift" as this shopping centre is from the late '90s
