Hello! Let's step inside the family house of Ralf Lauren where his family have lived for 13 years. Merry Christmas, Dear All!!!! Please subscribe to see more. Some images in the video are taken from AD magazine website.
I have always loved the deep rich colors in Ralph Lauren inspired interiors. I am all about layering and using what I have. Editing is the key. I like pairing items that tell a story and create a mood. Pairs help bring symmetry to a heavily accessorized room. Otherwise it becomes chaotic with nowhere for your eyes to rest. I always recommend buying pairs of furniture, lamps and accessories. By placing them grouped around a central object you create both a focal point and instant symmetry. Ralph Lauren is wonderful but Charles Faudree was a master of this. He could fill a room with furniture, objects and multiple patterns and yet his interiors were calm and inviting. My favorite designer.
The problem with all these expertly organized, immaculately chic spaces is that nobody actually wants to be in them. Especially straight men. If you're looking for the guests and wondering why they're indifferent to your pristine pairs of things on the sideboard - you'll find them in the garden. By the way these photographs are well and truly out of date.
My favorite designer and my favorite interiors....Lauren can do no wrong and this house is absolutely exquisite in every way. I love every room....this tudor mansion is my dream come true.
The library is by far the most comfortable looking room. If I was living in a studio apartment this is what I would want to surround myself with, I'd never want to leave. It is a stunning room.
I agree - the library. But I give the pool house a close second, especially the cozy dining nook. Nicely done video with very lyrical narration - thanks!
He deserves to live the American dream all the way as he work and work and work he can show us a thing or two about work ethic family and how he show his kids to work to keep the working ethics alive working hard living well should be the mantra of all hard working Americans and like i will say God bless America my home sweet home
I actually worked on all 6-7 houses he has on the property doing HVAC on a weekly basis up in Bedford a couple of years back. Wish we were able to see the rest of the houses so that I can relive the memories.
It is quality furniture that you see and expensive oil paintings but it gives the feeling to me..it’s so heavy and it’s over decorated and it’s dark but I do acknowledge the quality of what he has but each his own
beautiful home 🏡 excellent taste well deserve success no other designers came close to do the ultimately luxurious elegance and exquisite brand POLO for all wallets. no matter the size well done
ah there you are wrong sorry...they are nouveau riche which is not "classy" but rather fake. Go inside a real British country house one day...you will see frayed upholstery from the dogs sitting on it..and treasured for that exact reason. You will see hundreds of spiderweb littlle scatches called patina on the sterling silver pieces. The same with the French polished centuries old mahogany etc wood pieces...refinishing destroys the value of antique wood pieces. That is the real British country style and they treasure it...the very last thing they want to do is to convey they went out and bought everything this decade or even this century! That is considered tacky and common...their phrase for LOW class.
This house is exquisite and decorated in expensive traditional furniture and paintings that reflect the inner life of the person that owns it! So many wealthy people have changed from this traditional type of home furnishings to those ghastly, modern, white on white monstrosities that have removed all individuality! Love Ralph Laurens house with comfort and a personality! Would be so peaceful to live in this house and look out on the calming forest outside!,
Driving past 18 years ago I noticed a dumpster full of old double raised panel door, knocked on the door, The contractor said, yes the doors are being, "thrown out ".."take them, it's a shame they're being wasted". I went to the local truck rental got a truck and the contractor gladly helped load the doors, so he could fill it with old windows....all perfectly good, but I had what I needed a truck load doors.. The house he did over was better before he Ralphed it...which is always too much..to nouveau. and just too much of a display room or window of merch on 5th ave.
Wow! Thank you very much for sharing this unique piece of info with us! It's really insane how the rich hurry to replace too many good things in their newly bought properties. But at least, in this situation - one man's trash is another man's treasure ;)
Thought I’d like it as much as I do his clothing line but I want to repaint those dark walls, clear out half (at least) of the furniture and paintings and give it a minimal approach. Jmho and I do love those brighter rooms.
I am so sick of so called minimalist homes where people live who stress themselves out all day at work and then come home to a house with a sofa, chair and wall mounted monstrosity television. The reason most people choose a minimalist home is because their brains are cluttered not by their possessions but endless time on their cell phones Amazon shopping and hoping they will get a thumbs up or be followed on Facebook by someone in Timbuktu who doesn't know them from Adam. Start living again folks. Instead of the empty all white cavern you call home make it a real home and surround yourself with objects and art that evokes meaning and memories. While you're at it put your cell phone and devices down long enough to appreciate all that is around you. We have become a world of technology addicted zombies. We can't wipe our behinds without consulting Alexa.
Why u want clear the rooms 😮 it represents individuality 😊 not all the places should be the same right?? Plus it gives an old vibe n mostly they would look cluttered in the old world all over it was up to my taste I would say
Peacocks the one in the picture are very unlucky sure it's worth an arm and a leg every one to there own taste house is some thing else he will probably leave it to the nation look like a lovely couple
Sorry I feel is too crowded in general. I would feel stressed out there. I am not a minimalist but I think is too much going on there. Everything looks expensive but I do not see a defined personal style perhaps the dark velvets. I liked the bathroom and the pool house. I am surprised at myself I did not really love RL house???
The exterior of the house is beautiful, however, the vines will eventually ruin it. As for the interior of the home, ery nice but I've seen better examples of his work.
At least he lives by his fashion. It looks like his style. Honestly, it's too dark for my taste, it's claustrophobic. If he decorated the main house the same as the pool house, it would be more airy and open. I could live in the pool house happily. If I had a say in it, those changes would be made.
Maybe he decorated it as per his taste and it represents individuality at the end ...he Maybe wanted to give an old charm to the place and u know that old world wasn't that bright as much as recall
@@fatimamohammad6358 maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe this, maybe that. . . . is that all you gotta say? Maybe it's glum, maybe its tacky, maybe it's maxed out, maybe it's a pile of 💩!

A mix of French and English traditional furniture , lovely pieces but nothing really new. The whole look is « more is more » and seriously lacks creativity . It’s surprising that America hasn’t developed its own furniture style it still relies on Europe for luxurious furnishings.
Dude stole everything. Even this house is all copied from other people houses. Everything he sells already existed, he just stole it and raised the price.
