Walk through Stanford's campus with us! Christine is a Stanford student majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Public Policy, and this campus tour will be from her perspective based on the spots that she often visits. Christine and I met through Girls Who Invest, and both of us ended up interning for Apple during the 2020-2021 academic year!

@@LaSombraaI’m going to Cornell and also hope to go to Stanford or MIT for grad school. I’m really interested in artificial intelligence so I’d love to attend one of these schools (preferably Stanford 😅)

Other than the Engineering Quad, campus hasn't changed all that much since I graduated in 2005.

They look for exemplary grades and standardized tests, but more importantly a great personality and passion in a certain field of study.

What if i select economics in my application as intended major but after getting in within the first semester can i change it to computer science or international studies major? Does economics major requires perquisites like economics subjects in class 11, 12 or if i only had math phy, chem, eng than can i choose economics as my major... Same goes to Computer science too i didn't choose any subjects related to it in my class 11, 12 still can i do a major in if i wanted

Hi! Yes, you can switch your major at Stanford, but you just have to make sure that you complete the necessary pre-requisite courses since Stanford requires students to declare a major by the end of their sophomore year. There's a lot of people who didn't take classes in high school related to their college major, so you're perfectly fine as long as you fulfill the pre-requisite courses at Stanford. Hope this helps!

@@caranguyen any link where i can see required perquisites of major in Stanford... What do you think Cs vs Economics who is more competent in people choosing
@caranguyen
@caranguyen 3 года назад
@@SpecyBox If you look up "Stanford AP Credit Chart", you can find a chart with AP courses and their equivalents at Stanford. You can then compare them to the pre-requisite courses for each major if you search for "Stanford [X Major] Bachelor's Degree Requirements".

As colleges are test optional this year should I send my 1350 SAT score to the top ones and explain y I couldn't do better if I have genuine personal and circumstantial reasons? Or is it better to not send them? (I'm an international student)?
