Touring ‘Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond's Town | PAWHUSKA, OK 

To everyone wondering - we all know restaurants with a famous cook’s name on it are often hype without quality food to match the hype.Well, I can tell you the prices, QUALITY and service in the Mercantile is just fabulous. People told us it is that way consistently too!!! I admire Ree’s desire to make sure The Pioneer Woman restaurant is a cut WAY above!!

This town for a girlfriends trip is really getting popular!!! When we went, there were groups and business was brisk all over Pawhuska. The entire place embraced the tourists. Friendly sweet people.

I loved this video! You missed your HAWAII trip but got the next best thing A TRIP TO SEE WHERE THE PIONEER WOMAN AND HER MALBORO MAN LADD CALL HOME!!! I love the Hotel!!!! The Merchantile is the best! The food looked homemade and comforting! I would've loved to purchase things from the store and bakery!!!! The pizza must've been so good. Glad you all enjoyed yourselves!!!

I went with my sisters and my niece a little over a year ago. We stayed at the same hotel, and our room overlooked the Merc! It was a magical day. We shopped all up and down Pawhuska and I have a lovely iron cross on my entry wall from a shop right behind the Merc. Loved your video!

That was a minimal showing of the mercantile, my husband and I were there in 2019 and it was AMAZING, I was told that Ree sometimes made surprise visits there... I wanted to CAMP there just to be able to meet her. Then we were told about the lodge and went to visit there. It to was AMAZING. 4 or 5 different sleeping quarters her filming kitchen then even an industrial kitchen in the back.

If you ever come back, you need to drive through the Tallgrass Prairie and see the free roaming bison. We go at least every six months. It’s amazing!

I‘ve bern there twice, so much fun and yes the food is great. Love the Frontier Hotel and while the town is small we had a great time exploring and visiting with shop owners. The lodge is a must see and those not knots are unbelievable. If you haven’t been it is a fun little trip.

Would have been better to show the food on your plates rather than in your mouths.

I hope you went to the Ben Johnson Museum too .

Been to the restaurant once & the shop ~~~DELICIOUS & the store is wonderful. We live here so we’re going back for the tour & more food next time

Loved your video. We've been to Pawhuska many times, as we live just over 3 hours away in Kansas. Everytime visiting the Merc, Boarding House, Ranch, etc, feels like home. Such a wonderful experience! I've met Ree and her Husband, Ladd a few times, they are so down to earth. Thank you for sharing!

I'm sorry you didn't get to meet Ree. From time to time she's known to pop in at the Mercantile and surprise guests at the Lodge. P.Town Pizza is one of the best pizzas in Oklahoma besides Hideaway Pizza. Not too long ago on Kihekah Ave in Pawhuska (same street as P. Town Pizza) the street was closed off, and used to film Killers of the Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone which I believe is coming out in 2023. My husband, and I were up there during the filming, had an amazing time. The Mercantile is an awesome place to visit, along with the Ranch.
