I kept the video rolling... and I have a stress cow like that too! It isn't branded for a college, though. It's of a local business; I got it free at a job fair. Also, that was nice of you To share the list you used for the ranking process, Since I'm sure there are potential vet school attendees (and their parents) Who will watch and want to know more about your insights from the experience.

So fun! Where did you end up going?? I’m going to NC State in the fall and yes, I had to take animal nutrition through Oklahoma State!😂

I’m currently going into 3rd year at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine! I absolutely love it here!! Huge congratulations at getting accepted into veterinary school - that is no easy feat! So happy to have you in the field! If you find yourself at VMCVM for an externship or something - be sure to say hi!

Hey Ash, I’m a freshman in college. I’ve been doing research about NC States Vet school, it seems pretty competitive. I was hoping you could let me know what your application consisted of. They no longer require GREs, so what are some things you did to get accepted? How many letters of recommendations did you get? Etc. I just want to be prepared, thank you. I would love to have this convo elsewhere. Lmk your @s

@@Josh_Morron - in case the OP doesn’t reply ((RU-vid notifications like to slip through the cracks!)) a great resource for you would be @becomingdoctornia on Instagram. All veterinary schools are kinda equally as competitive to be admitted, although I do admit that it is more difficult to be out of state and be admitted to NC state CVM. This is because they have a minimum GPA for OOS students (and it’s like 3.5 or something) - when I visited they told us they’ll throw your application in the trash if it doesn’t meet that. But, if you’re a NC resident, then the process is comparable to most student’s experiences. No matter where you go, all vet schools require the central VMCAS application, with some minor things in addition depending on where you go. For general application questions, my email is wildpathinc@gmail.com and my Instagram is @cecelialovescats - I’m always happy to help out pre-vet students!

Do you think visiting these schools increased or aiding your enrollment into one of the programs??
@CeceliaBedelia
@CeceliaBedelia Год назад
hmmm maybe!! I don’t think they track who visits but then you can kinda cater your application to what xyz school wants. Also it helps you when they ask you “why do you want to go to this vet school?” at any interviews

I want to be an equine vet or big animal vet when I’m older and I was wondering what school you think would be the best for that?
@CeceliaBedelia
@CeceliaBedelia 5 месяцев назад
they’d all be fine! But if you want horses/cows - try to target schools where all the horses and cows are so it’s easier to get externships and experiences! Knowledge-wise any school would be fine! Virginia Tech had an excellent food animal program because there’s a lot of local farms

What is GRE?
@CeceliaBedelia
@CeceliaBedelia 3 года назад
Like the SAT but for college seniors instead. Not terrible from what I’ve heard, but it’s expensive and eats up a whole day of time.
@jaymewilliams7545
@jaymewilliams7545 3 года назад
@@CeceliaBedelia you gotta pay for it? That’s dumb as hell
@CeceliaBedelia
@CeceliaBedelia 3 года назад
@@jaymewilliams7545 oh I know, that's half of the reason why I didn't take it. However, since the data shows that GRE performance is not a good indicator of veterinary school performance more and more vet schools are moving to not require it each year. From the top of my head I can tell you MSU, OSU, VMCVM, and the Caribbean schools do not require it. However, since more change every year definitely check with your dream vet schools before you spend that money!!
