Man, that is such a dope-ass loft/apartment. I love the style, decorations, the green plant life everywhere, etc. It's just a well-done and creative space.
I love that train noise, when I first left BKLYN I couldn't sleep cause it was so quite LOL. All I heard was crickets and that shit scared me. I lived on Humboldt St.
You can never leave, the rent on this place will double if you do. This is like the dreamy set of a New York sitcom for the impossibly cool “guy with the apartment” episode.
Deja, congrats on moving to your first solo apartment! Now you can make it completely your own and express yourself freely! We have some great new episodes on the way for more inspiration on making your dream space. Make sure to subscribe and keep being awesome.
Julian has a real kitchen in a separate room. That alone makes his home special for NYC. I like that he personalized the walls and art and customized some of the furniture. Very nice.
I rarely look at apartment tours belonging to men because I never find any interest in their decor or style. However, yours is awesome. I guess I shouldn’t just automatically count out men. I enjoyed your tour.
I'm OBSESSED with this loft!!! I dream to live in a place like this. Julian is so talented and has made the absolute most with this space...this has given me a lot of ideas for my own apt in LA. I will be watching this again and again!
This place has soul, personality and looks loved and lived in. I love the integration of graphics in the gallery walls. Yes, masculine, but not so much that it discourages people from enjoying the space. Quite sophisticated, actually. Thank you! I love it!
That train is a whole vibe within itself. I see a method to your genius oppose to your madness as one commenter commented. What’s not to love about your digs. Love it 😍!!!
Of all the apartments featured, this is my favorite. The way he transformed that living space to have such a confident and busy energy about it. So well done!
Cool Space! He looks very happy! He's very neat, clean and we'll organized! It's nice when you have a home you enjoy that's well decorated too! (And you can change it, renovate & alter it to your liking). Similar to him my space is equally as spacious and feels huge! Except instead of having two floors, I have three, including an unfinished basement area with my own washer and dryer. But yes, my abode is considered a 4-family townhome, it feels extra huge to a bachelor or bachelorette; it includes an office area, two rooms with three floors, a living, dining, kitchen area and huge spacious walk-in closets to hold my unique wardrobe fashion. I am happy until the next upgrade, in-which this is my third upgrade. I've enjoyed curating this sort of eclectic arrangement; a combination of boho, french, royal, modern, maximalism dwelling space. His space is aesthetically appealing that's for sure!
i love this apartment. it astonishes me how chill his landlord sounds. mine won't even let me put a nail in the wall, and his took a door out for him and lets him paint and hang whatever he wants on the walls!
I love how you decorate with plants! I have two majestic parlor ferns, a heart shaped philodendron, and a gorgeous spider plant that amaze everyone. I keep them groomed, and they help with fighting winter blues. Plus, I could swear they keep the air fresh when the house is closed up. I selected them because they do not need sunlight to thrive, this way I can place them in any spot and they live on defused and artificial lighting. I also like fresh flowers on my kitchen table, and put them on my weekly grocery list.
What a great space. I lived right by train tracks years ago. After a while --for me anyway--you do not even hear it anymore. Just white noise. Your space is perfect.
W😲W!!!! A-MA-ZING!!! 😱 I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! I especially L🖤V E the gallery walls and the ceiling tapestry! His place is Unique, cozy, creative, and artsy! Well done! Very well done!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Dude, I mean duuuddddeeee! This is AMAZING, truly! I've not seen many guys studio fix or tours and I really like this. You're very talented and your DIY projects are so creative. I enjoyed this truly watching this, I really did!👍🏾⚘
Ugh I love his apartment! The style, interior design, the vibes, so much character!!! He seems like a really really cool and creative guy with great taste! ❣️😎
Love, love, love his loft. He has a great eye for interior design, and it feels homie but not cluttered. Honestly what a steal at $2.1K/mo! I wonder if it’s rent controlled/stabilized because I’ve seen similar places for $3K/mo + and you can’t even stand up in the lofted area. As for the pink tile in the bathroom he should get it reglazed! 6 months ago I did that in my UES apt and it completely upgraded my bathroom. It used to be this mishmosh of flower, off-white, and tan tiles… it was a mess lol. I paid a company to reglazed them all white and now my bathroom looks new/modern. It was affordable, and so far haven’t had any issues with them. 100% recommend!
Shide Nny - Thank you for your honesty😆! His avoiding the word "gentrified" means he's friends with the gentrifiers. We all know some gentrifiers; they're people and it's the way of the world.
@@mariec.9102 right. We don’t want to insult people by calling them what they are. But is it an insult when it’s the truth? The gentrifiers certainly didn’t see it that way when they were buying up the properties for less than their value and then pushing the less affluent residents out so they can feel more comfortable. It isn’t until there is an outcry about the injustice that they find it upsetting.
This is very nice young man. I would love to see this type of young fresh perspective on HGTV instead of the same 5 people doing the same ole thing. Live Well Brother

Man you are awesome....really well thought out. Very air, visually enticing living area. Watching clips like this helps others to think differently about everything. STAY SAFE and thanks 😊
You've expended a lot of time and effort to make that apartment entirely you! It actually has a fair amount of space, and lots of surfaces for you to express your creativity. The bargain price is surely due to the location right next to the train. They say that "New York is a city that never sleeps", and that must include you sometimes.
He humbly says ‘I don’t know’ a few times when explaining his tastes and reasons etc not knowing he’s great and very talented in designing his space. Good job
Such a cool space! Personal and hip without being overly Insta-trend conscious like so many on here. I wish I had a recording/creative space like that!
Michelle, you can absolutely create a creative space like this and we want to see it when you do! We hope Listed inspires you to take your space to the next level :)

I had to come over and show you and your space some love, Thomas. Feel like I’ve been watching this transform from infancy. So much as changed and you keep getting better at everyday. Dopeness!
