Im from Sweden and i was hoping to see some Scandinavian/Swedish influences and design choises in this but sadly there were almost none at all.. Three small Swedish flags in the whole house (that we saw), a weird snowroom that i don't see the point of at all except that it's maybe exotic and special for people living in Dubai but i think that room is just a waste of space that will not be used much for anything. The viking ship as a roof was just weird to me aswell.. Other than that it looked like any other multi million dollar mansions and what i could see there were going to be 10 of them on the Swedish Island. The thing i like though (as i always do) is the professionalism of both Enes and Mikey. They are a great team that always do amazing tours and videos. Well done lads.
This is an old property that was 1st built as a show home. The Swedish “theme” bit came later Bec they didn’t know what to do with the property. I didn’t know Swedish homes has so much white marble 🤣. I wouldn’t buy that place for a mil.
@@lightsodda The home isn't named for its style, it's named for its island. In Dubai, they have a chain of man-made Island called the The World Islands, and the various islands are named after various locations. This home is on Swedish Island.
I loved the tour, but no tour could make me fall in love with this house. I did however, particularly like the lounge area - that was gorgeous and inviting.
whaaatever! im sure its not as nice as your two bedroom apartment lol! id live in a one room shack to have that kind of beach front!! .. id just be out swimming with my dog all day!
I actually love this. The whole house seems very zen to me. I wanted to curl up in a chair on a deck and take a nice long nap with that breeze. Only thing that didn't make sense to me was marble stairs going up to a huge tub - with no railings and only slight grips at the front. I can see myself slipping and breaking a few bones. Definitely going to be looking for the Seahorse video - now that's going to be something.
Brilliant as usual! Your professionalism and humility shines through and is the reason why luxury developers worldwide are now lining up to have you tour their developments!
I've seen other content creators show this house before but you guys always do such a great job getting every detail and make it feel like we are right there with you guys. I have watched you guys for a long time now and I never click like on videos or comment but I do on this channel because I really want to help you guys do well. It truly shows that you guys enjoy and take take your job seriously.
Believe it or not but I have binge watch about 20-25 episodes in the past few days. I enjoy the tours and information you guys give. The quality has grown immensely which is something you notice watching episodes back to back. The chemistry between you and Mikey is so genuine and inviting, it's almost like I'm there. The is my first time commenting, because i can't from my TV. Trust you have a new fan here, keep up the great content!!
I saw this for sale recently and felt it looked a little weird. Thanks to your excellent review, I can now confirm that it is indeed weird. Spectacular, but weird. It doesn't look very homely.
Hate to break it to you guys but the only Swedish about this place is the Swedish flags in various places throughout the house. And the Bentley nonsense is just tacky from a Swedish point of view. Koenigsegg or in worst case scenario Volvo would have been the Swedish way. With that said, as always, awesome job with the tour Ernes.
Cool to see one of these up close. I've always heard about the Dubai world Islands but never saw anything like this. I think a lot of people are confused about what these are, though. The house that's built on them isn't necessarily supposed to represent the island (nation). Also, that lounge was one of the coolest things I've seen in any of these tours.
And the Bentley furniture is sort of icing on top of the absurdity of this whole development.. Sweden obviously has great presentation in car manufacturing field so how does it make any sense to have furniture with a British car manufacturer´s logo all around..
Every time enes says it's a little windy outside we are gonna do our best to reduce the wind noise I think his team takes it very seriously because there is never an issue regarding that appreciate all the hard work endes and his team congrats on what u have achieved since now also
Being Swedish I’m borderline insulted by them calling it a Swedish palace. Nothing Scandinavian about this design at all and the misplaced flags was just cringeworthy. This was the Dubai version of “blackfacing” Scandinavian design 😂 Love your work though Enes & Mike.
@@fiftyphonkartist The thing is you’d be hard pressed to find any house in Scandinavia with an overturned fat version of a longship as a roof. It’s as much Scandinavian design as putting a kangaroo on the roof and calling it Australian. And the rune/snake carvings on the facade isn’t something that exist here either. Hence the air of a designer making something that’s his imagination of Scandinavian design rather than staying true to actual Scandinavian design. Which makes it all feel amateurish rather than professional. Scandinavian design is very minimalistic. Clean and simple lines that convey elegance. Wooden floors like oak, ash, birch etc. The opposite of what we see here. To be clear I don’t mind the house in general. Just passing it as anything Swedish is so far off the mark it jars my senses.
I wish we could see the staff quarters in these huge homes. (I’m curious about the living conditions of staff.) I’m also curious to know if the basement level bedrooms have an easily accessible egress area, and if the staff have an area where they can relax, eat, read and possibly even watch TV.
I'm curious about one thing, no garage? If the owner wants to go to the city they go by boat or helicopter get into the car that is parked somewhere there?
Nice work, Enes as always. First time seeing a mansion with NO family kitchen, just a staff kitchen on the lower level - quite odd and cold. Regarding the primary bedroom, the round bed is like Las Vegas (yuck) and nobody wants their bathtub literally in their bedroom! Also, when will these high-end builders and designers realize that for these prices, couples want their own his and hers WC! XX
Wealthy Arabs that are supposed to buy this (but according to the lack of progress of "The World" clearly are not) don't cook themselves. Actually they almost do nothing themselves. They have staff that takes care of every single thing. Dubai is just a really fake and terrible place to be. Actually all Emirates are.
One reason I could live in Dubai very easily is that it's very safe. I wouldn't have any qualms at all about it getting broken into...or worse being woken in the middle of the night by intruders. Especially love the huge bath, round bed, outside areas with that view of this property. Great find Enes.
The ceilings look great a lot of attention to detail went into but the walls have the same neutral color all over the place. The Calabasas home looked better IMO, with the different colors and materials they used on the walls!
The shape of the house is a bit too much for me personally, but this elegance inside and the glass dome are just fantastic. But best of all is this own jungle that extends around the whole property.
🇨🇦 this estate is absolutely the most beautiful, serene home I've ever seen! Just mind blowing! As large as it is there's a sense of comfort with it. Very crisp!
This home is delicate and very perstine for its design and is very Adequate and is one of kind in design and luxurious as always very suitable for people's needs.
i'm really struggling to find anything Swedish about this house. even the detailing that is supposed to reference Scandinavian design misses the mark. you did a great job touring it, and its a nice place, but for the developers to call it Swedish, is a joke. I'm not even Swedish, but I have friends who are, who live there. I know they would be confused by this being called a Swedish palace.
This is absolute 🔥 for this price range. The house is so elegant and the views are incredible. Very very cool roof and garden! Interieur screams quality.
This house was tacky gaudy excess from start to finish. And then you went to that top floor! Wow! That alone made the house worth it. What an incredible space. I would love something like that in the UK, a cold winter day, the snow and rain lashing down on the glass, gently watching TV with a glass of wine, looking at the views...
The reason why the houses there are so nice for that amount of money is because the average worker mainly from South Asian who built these homes gets paid the same in one month as someone in L.A. gets in one day.
Amazing how the builder managed to make something this expensive look this cheap. The materials and the finish look nothing like $ 21.000.000 - not to mention that this has NOTHING to do with swedish, let alone scandinavian design. Amazing work by Enes and co. as always though
This surely is a great price for something so unique compared to most of the more expensive properties you constantly show on your channel. Its a no brainer for me, only in my dreams though unless i hit the lottery one day.
Such a unique experience! That whole islands project is an amazing concept! And a snow room?! You somehow always find something never seen before. Great work!
its crazy to think just a year ago he was only showing houses in LA, and now he's getting to travel the world to show us these amazing houses worldwide. the growth is incredible
Hi Enes, I've been watching your videos for a very longtime and this is my first comment here. I just wanted to say I love the job you are doing with these houses and I think I am addicted to your channel. Thanks a lot for the beautiful videos.
This was a beautiful house. Was not too impressed until the primary bedroom and roof top. If I was buying that would sell me on this property. Just breathtaking.
Amazing home tour Enes, and Mikey. To see the level, and scale of this home is amazing. You give us tour’s that we would not be privy to unless we travel to view them in person. With every home tour you do I get to view homes around the world, without ever leaving my home, and see the differences in architecture and style, which is stunning. Great job as always.
I absolutely love these videos! I feel like I'm experiencing these places first hand and it always lifts my spirits. thank you guys for making such wonderful content!
It doesn’t look like comfortable for living as home; but maybe only for two weeks holidays with a large group of friends. Otherwise it looks so boring and too much open and close to other buildings. Only for you I liked the video Enes; for your and the team’s amazing work👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That upstairs lounge is absolutely nuts, what a unique atmosphere!! I wonder how much it would cost to add that on to my house 😂? Thanks for making our Mondays so much better 🙏 !
This is so amazing! Have you ever thought of having a show on Netflix? I feel like I would binge watch this all day. The detail that you go into is phenomenal. I've watched other channels and nothing compares to your tours!
This is an amazingly beautiful and unique home. Your presentation of the home was stellar. Thank you for giving all of us a great reason to love Mondays!
Who wants to live on a pile of sand only reachable by boat or helicopter while still having neighbours right in front of you, in a "Swedish" mansion that looks like a generic marble clusterfuck stuffed with the entire Bentley furniture catalog? Well no one apparently, otherwise it wouldnt be for sale
That thing you couldn't guess about in the kitchen is actually used in hotels to keep food hot. The food which is prepared is kept under that , you might see it in buffets , the lights above keep the food hot.
By far the most gauche house you’ve done. There is not one tasteful feature in the entire house. That takes some skill. It’s every tacky detail under one roof. Impressive. Even with yours and Mikey’s beautiful photography and salesmanship, you can’t polish this “Swedish” turd.
@@EnesYilmazer and while you stand Infront of the infinity pool like a paradise bird, a flock of paradise birds lands and drinks from the clear water, at the house that is itself a paradise bird!
