@@victoriawitthinrich There's a beachfront that was cut off by the Meridien Hotel in Phuket that was forced to provide a public footpath for access to the beach. If I turned up on that beach on Cape Yamu on my boat, I don't believe there's anything they could do about it, unless they've got Chinote posts set into it. I own a beachfront property whose land once extended some 30m out to, what is now, a crown property beach under water at high tide but the Chinote posts were only allowed on the solid ground inside my sea wall effective boundary.

@@fredriklk The company would be setup purely for property purchase reasons and no business could be conducted through it, a Thai shareholder would need to be the 51% owner of the property BUT, that person would be found by the lawyer to clear loopholes, you would have to pay a tiny fee for that, the Thai person at the company have no say, rights, or hold over the land or the decisions on the land so it is 100% yours and secure

When I read 8M and 18M I think these properties are in Dubai. Then after I realise it's in Thailand. Most of foreigners living there are retired and fleeing their countries because they can not live with 1k or 2k usd there. Then who 's the crazy rich one who 'll buy a burning shelter with $ 8M without owning the land . With a military government that change the visa rules everyday, and they may cancel his Visa, to make him leave Thailand by force and his property too. Do your search about Vietnam.
